Here is a picture of the pedalboard my dad and I put together today. This is pretty much the set of pedals I plan to use for gigs and stuff. The signal runs like this (for you guitarists out there):

Guitar ----> TU-2 --> Orange Squash (Compressor) --> Chorus --> Bad Monkey (OD) --> Blues Driver (OD) --> Booste Grande --> Sonic Stomp ----> Hot Rod Deluxe amp

The effects shown are: vintage MXR Phase 100 phaser, Boss CE-1 chorus pedal, MXR Distortion+, Roland SBF-325 Stereo Flanger with chorus, Lexicon MPX-1 multi-effects and a DigiTech DSP256XL. Behind the Boss CE-1 is a spare Oberheim Mini Sequencer.

DigiTech’s Tom Cram demos the new iPB-10 Programmable Pedalboard that works in conjunction with the iPad, and the Whammy DT, which adds true bypass switching, drop-tuning capabilities, the ability to shift entire chords, and much more. (Video Coming Soon!)

I will later upload my setup.

Small business Saturday acquisition. So far I've got a Korg Pitch Black tuner, a Boss ODB-3 Overdrive pedal, a secondhand Digitech Bass Synth Wah pedal, and now an EH Bass Big Muff Pi distortion pedal.

Reconfigured the pedal board, adding a new toy to the train - an electro-harmonix Superego synth engine. Fantastic for creating some great Pink Floyd sustain effects. Pulled the Crybaby wah off the rack for now. Removed the fingerboard from the EpiDot. These settings (RP-155, SP and CS-3) give me a nice Black Sabbath sound (ala WASP) so decided to capture for future reference.

Because you need to know these things.

Jamming in the studio Saturday 13th Sept 08

The BV boys have a new studio to play in. Interestingly it's situated underneath a pole dancing studio in Southbourne! This is the first in hopefully many insights into what actually goes on in there. This week we decided to take a break from recording and decided to have a jam - to see if we come up with anything interesting.
