This is a moth wing l found on the back porch. l took this image with my Digitech QC3199 digital microscope. l found the shape and color of the crescent type moon shape on the wing very interesting, and have seen this on other moths.

Adastral Park at Martlesham Heath, Suffolk, seen from the air, with the distinctive main buildings of BT’s research and development centre dominating the view.
The site was formally opened by Queen Elizabeth II in November 1975 as the new home of the Post Office’s telecommunications research operation, succeeding the famous Post Office Research Station at Dollis Hill in north-west London. It subsequently became British Telecom Research Laboratories, commonly known as BT Labs, and today Adastral Park remains BT’s principal research and innovation campus.
Over the past half-century, work carried out here has helped shape modern telecommunications. Adastral Park played an important part in the development and commercialisation of single-mode optical fibre, and more recent research has included 5G, artificial intelligence, cyber security, quantum communications and advanced optical networks. BT has also used the site to trial hollow-core optical fibre and quantum-secured communications.
The campus now extends well beyond BT itself. Innovation Martlesham, headquartered at Adastral Park, brings together a large cluster of technology businesses ranging from start-ups and SMEs to international companies including BT, Cisco, Nokia, Ericsson and Juniper. The wider technology community numbers more than 4,000 people.
Adastral Park is also home to the University of Suffolk’s DigiTech Centre, a £9.6 million research and engineering facility developed jointly with BT and officially opened in October 2021. Its specialist laboratories support work and teaching in areas including artificial intelligence, data science, network security and cyber technology.
Research continues to evolve. Recent facilities at Adastral Park include a Quantum Optics Discovery Laboratory and Optical Ground Station, supporting development of future optical, space-based and quantum communications.
The surroundings are changing too. Alongside the technology campus is the developing Brightwell Lakes community, bringing substantial new housing and infrastructure to the land beside Adastral Park and the A12.
This aerial photograph records one of Britain’s most important telecommunications research sites as it passes the 50-year mark, linking the pioneering telephone and fibre-optic research of the 1970s with today’s work on AI, quantum technology and the communications networks of the future.

This image was taken with my, Digitech QC3199, computer microscope, it is of some, brand less, drill bits that l bought at Bunnings.
A shot of some nails from the shed, on top of a old Narva light globe packet. I used the packet back ground because of the vivid blue color, and the contrast to the nails. the image was captured with my Digitech, QC3199, digital microscope.
