Digital tools
1. My cute MOUSE .
Though I prefer the use of technical pens hands on as it is a lot easier . But I don't have the
pens , tough !
So I thought of the digital pencil tool .I was trying to imagine if it can achieve the fine strokes
I wanted same as the technical pens ... by manually operating it through
the mouse .
2. Digital pencil .
I used with the lowest size brush 1 ,did adjustments of the mode and opacity by trial and error until I achieved the desired very thin strokes.
3. Gradient adjustments.
4 . Burn and dodge tools
5.The sky textures were achieved using the above tools mentioned .I did adjust the levels and the curves did a few random scribbles of lines over the sky area for textures and apply a slight shadow from burn tool .
Can even used shots of tree trunks ,old rough tiles ,paper or wood etc for collection of textures .
Basically using the fine simple strokes with the mouse ,together with combination and adjustments of the above tools , the job is done for this picture .
To do the impression of grass ,I I did countless repeatitive zigzag motions with the mouse to get the textures or did fine circular motions for plants . I altered the scenery a little bit by adding additional palm trees using the same fine zigzag movements (brush size 1) and adding a little bigger house in the background and repositioning the hut on the left hand side of this pic .
This is my first picture of digital pencil strokes using the mouse .
The start of a new series: Iowa water towers. This one in Cedar Rapids. This generating station is operated by Alliant Energy. Although I suspect that the 'ie' stands for Iowa Electric. The Station used to burn coal to generate electricity. It's been converted to natural gas. August 25, 2018

Line drawing directly from a photo, color from imagination.
Once again, I used LIQ to distort a photo, then drew directly from the distorted photo in Brushes.
"It's all downhill from here"—meaning and etymology
The first indicates that things have since gotten a lot worse.
While the second means the opposite thing--that the hard part is over and it's all smooth sailing now.
ME- MATTERS NOT just watch out for rabbit holes at the foot of the hill...... If your lucky you will glide right over.. if not say hello to the White Rabbit, as in Alice in Wonderland( not MDMA, also known as ecstasy or Molly as in the song by Jefferson Airplane)

When I was 9 years old in the late sixties, I borrowed from my elementary school library a book entitled "Early Man, a Life Nature Library" about human evolution. I remember reading it and wondering how it fit in with Adam and Eve. I asked my mother about it and she said we didn't come from monkeys. I never heard anything about evolution in schools.
Recently I purchased a copy of this book. I always thought the skull depicted on the cover was a neanderthal and indeed that is how it was identified in the book. After obtaining the book, I immediately recognized image as that of the Skhul 5 skull from Isreal and is now considered to be our species Homo sapiens.

If all mankind were to disappear, the world would regenerate back to the rich state of equilibrium that existed ten thousand years ago. If insects were to vanish, the environment would collapse into chaos. We can not have equilibrium in this world with the current inequality and destruction of Mother Earth.
