NJCDC's Great Falls Youth Center are recipients of the City Green, Inc. Dig In! grant. Preparations have already begun work for the perennials installation in the fall at Center. Together, City Green and our Junior Youth Build students prepared the soil. The program is all about supporting vibrant community gardens and greening initiatives in Passaic County. I volunteered for a couple of hours at the Blandford Farm Dig In! event. The farm is being planted for the first time in 20 years and this event helped kick it off.

Demonstration Gardens

The Dig In! collective maintains garden plots around campus. They are using these spaces to raise awareness about urban agriculture,local food, and sustainable design issues on the University of Toronto campus campusagriculture.ca/
