The bucket of a mechanical digger which, for some unknown reason, was parked on the grass near Caldecotte Lake. It was extremely orange all over.

I didn't create the skull sculpture, that was created by Subodh Gupta and is called 'Very Hungry God' - the original skull picture was supplied by Paul Grand as part of the contest. I just manipulated it a little

At Tower Hill I found a row of road-rail diggers parked in the middle platform. I assume that it wasn't timetabled for them to be there; instead it was the fastest way to get them out of the way when the weekend's engineering works overran. (Metronet late, film @11. (am, the next day))
