Diggers Rest Primary School Mosaics 2004

My grandfather, William Barcroft, was an ANZAC. This is his "Diggers Abroad" badge and the bullet which nearly killed him just before the end of the First World War. He died before I was born; I never met him. But I remember him today, the 25th April, which is ANZAC Day.

Although we are just renting, we keep our home safe from tragedy with tenants insurance and that way I don't have to worry so much about how much trouble Digger will get into when I'm away at work..
