One of the sand-loving Digger Wasps photographed at Severnlea, near Stanthorpe in South East Queensland. It, along with many other insects, was feeding on parsley flowers. The wasp was quite small - about 10mm.
Exact species name of the wasp is not known.
This digger was actually a Christmas present from Nanny, but it made a great table centerpiece for the table at Mikey's party. Well, until Mikey saw it and wanted to play with it.

Digger parked up by the roadside by Bosham Quayside - used at low tide to replace the timbers on the breakwater.
Was gonna Title it "JCB" but it's a DOOSAN!

To the crowd the Diggers are unusual entertainment but others who watch rely on JCB machines for their living and for them the performance is a demonstration of the machines remarkable manoeuvrability, precision and power.
The Athletic Arms pub on the corner of Angle Park Terrace and Henderson Terrace, Edinburgh. Nicknamed the 'Diggers, or Gravediggers due to it's proximity to two large cemeterys.
