So, this requires an explanation as it's not the processing that makes it look as crazy as it does.
I purchased a filter a couple weeks back for my 11-16 and for one reason or another just assumed it was a regular UV.
Fast forward to taking these photos over the weekend and I finally throw the 11-16 on but find that everything looks a little blurry/dreamy -- so I'm thinking "oh no, my lens is busted!" and then I take a look at the filter and see "Diffusion" on it.
I unscrew it and there ya go, razor sharp -- I throw the filter back on and the lightbulb goes off: " I get it!"
The effect which initially caused me chest pain has now grown on me and I think that dreamy feeling is really cool (just don't overdo it!)

Using a diffusion panel to block out the sun. Need to make one that angles down from overhead..or modify this one or have someone hold the damn thing...but you get the idea. Makes a great sail too in the wind. Need sandbags.

The use of course management systems in different schools is a prime example of another communication theory, the diffusion of innovations.

Set up shot - Built a diffusion panel with PVC pipe and some rip-stop nylon from a fabric store. 580EXII and 430EX both at full power, fired by Pocket Wizards. Large version to read the descriptions here. It disassembles into 7 3-foot sections of pipe, plus a small bag of connectors, so it's fairly easily transportable.
