The over cast sky diffuses the light enough so it is soft on the subject.

Balanced light by using a diffuser so the light was even.

A random shot on the way to (or from, can't remember) the practise room for band practise as the sunset barely showed itself through the clouds. To me the clouds act a lot like a diffuser on a flash, making this shot's sunset really soft, like it's a long-exposure.

Pretty either way, I hope you'll agree :)
