1 white led, 1 red led, and 2 different LED light sabers sticks, blue and green
Method: Use a tripod/gorilla pod, put my camera on a long exposure and small aperature, and low ISO, then use a light to write, whether writing on a wall or in the air. Its really easy.

I have been making this for over 6 months, 100+ hours, and almost all done with hand tools, I used a bandsaw for the vertical slats,
very happy with how it has turned out. It will go on the backwall of my studio.
This is why I love my diffuser so much.
Everyone loves natural light, but not everyone is able to shoot their subject at the 'prime time'.. you know, about an hour before sunset, when the sun is PERFECT. So that's why I bought a diffuser, so that I can shoot in harsh lighting and still get the perfect 'softness' that I look for : )
Yep I was bored, and actually shot these like this for the sole purpose of posting this. haha.

I've read something similar in a strobist article and I've to try how it works.
The diffuser is only half illuminated to put the bowl with beans in a darker place...
Sample of a polypropylene frost look material for the diffuser. Smooth on one side, frosted on the other. Not sure how many layers will be required, but it looks good as far as I can tell.
Update: Ordered a sheet (1300x1000x1.2mm) of the same material really cheap. Enough for as many as 12 layers. Not that I would need that many.
