The Choquequirao Trek is one of the most difficult routes in Cusco - Peru, because of its verticality. Crossing the deep Canyon of Apurimac becomes a big challenge for those people who enjoy trekking. However, the difficulty of this trail is offset by the beauty of the landscape and the archeological Inca site of Choquequirao.
I had a hard time clipping into my pedals, because my legs were wobbly, I was way too excited, and I only practiced doing such a thing a handful of times :P

Space2face is Shetland’s restorative practice - an independent charity and confidential service. It uses restorative practices and the arts to support dialogue between those harmed by crime or conflict and those responsible for causing harm.
In partnership with justice social work in Shetland, Space2face has set up a new group called the Phenomenal Women’s Group – which takes its name from Maya Angelou’s poem ‘Phenomenal Woman’.
It was set up due to an increase in the number of women in contact with justice social work in Shetland and research evidence showing that taking part in creative arts activities can lead to a greater openness to restorative work and the potential for change.
The group meets weekly and takes inspiration from women artists and activists - making artwork and trying out new types of craft in response to their lives. This becomes a way of speaking about personal difficulties.
Members have described themselves as socially excluded and see the group as a safe, non-judgmental space that nurtures their mental health.
Many of the women are mothers and have come into the group through prior or current involvement with justice social work or as part of recovery.

Historic Banfield-Durham Hall on the campus of Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, Tennessee. The building was constructed in 1901 as Banfield Memorial Hall.
Tennessee Wesleyan University was chartered in 1854 as Odd Fellows Female College but never opened due to financial difficulties. The Holston Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church opened the Athens Female College in 1858 in the "Old College" building. The college closed during the Civil War and reopened in 1867 as East Tennessee Wesleyan College. In 1886 after the death of President Ulysses S. Grant, the school was renamed Grant Memorial University. In 1925 the college became Tennessee Wesleyan College and in 2016 it became Tennessee Wesleyan University.
The difficulty with these is drilling the hole. The scallops have the hole as part of the mould, but for these the hole is too small, or rather the material surrounding the hole is too fine to rely on the pewter flowing round the internal obstruction and accurately reproducing the hole - the more likely outcome is that the whole top of the leg where the hole is would be missing. So after casting and cleaning I need to carefully drill each individual cast, clean up around the drill hole with a tiny file, then they all go into the polisher for an hour of shining up.
