Nuttall Park is located just off the centre of Ramsbottom, Bury, Lancashire and the car park is down Nuttall Hall Road.
It can be reached from the East Lancs Railway, which runs round the edge of the park

Carved wooden sculptures depicting local flowers whioch have beed 'hidden' in the park. A stainless steel map on the floor of the bandstand provides information about the plants and a guide to their location.
This sculpture was part of the Irwell Sculpture Trail. Kerry Morrison was chosen from a shortlist of artists who had been asked to submit ideas on how they would use a six-month residency in Ramsbottom. Her focus was the wild flora of the park and in particular the need to see the plants as individual objects rather than as a group. Having observed them for some time, she selected four plants - black poplar catkin, bistort, broad leaved helliborine, ramson herb - to sculpt. These were sawn and carved from ash, oak and sycamore. They were then deliberately concealed at different places in the woodland and on the edge of Nuttall Park, secretive works standing among the very flora that had inspired them. At this year’s festival the renowned pianist Maki Namekawa will perform several pieces by different composers solo as well as together with her husband Dennis Russell Davis.
In the solo part of the performance she plays three pieces by the dutch pianist and composer Joep Beving, whose music has been brought to the attention of a wide audience by the streaming platform Spotify. He has released three albums – *Solipsism*, *Prehension* and *Henosis* Joined by Dennis Russell Davis, the duo performs the two pieces *Hymn to a Great City* and *Pari Intervallo* by the much-noticed Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, who is a well-known representative of
“New Simplicity”. *Hymn to a Great City* was originally composed for two pianos and will be played in a piano four-hands version transcribed by Russell Davis. The program is rounded of by three piano four-hand pieces of György Kurtág’s *Piano Transcriptions of Bach’s work*.

Different variety rice and side-dishes were served for lunch in a functionto which I was invited.Usually these dishes known as "chithrannam" are prepared for special functions like "Aadi Perukku","Valai kappu" and "Maattu Pongal" in Tamil Nadu.
The top row here (always served from the right to the left in order) are swwet items (Sakkarai pongal, Kesari, Kalkandu Saatham) and side-dishes(Mint chutney,potato curry,Vegetable Puli- koottu,fried vadaham and mango-pickle)
The middle row has onion-raitha,puli(tamarind)rice,tomato-rice,sambaar-satham, Venn pongal,briyani and coconut-
rice.
In the bottom row are lemon-rice,fried rice, dal-rice, curd-rice and spiced rice

Goku doesn't care so much about her, she bends her head in front of his mouth so he can lick her, but he doens't! Instead of it, Goku licks Lua.

The first really big storm of the rainy season started in the wee hours this morning and will continue, they say, through most of the day. Different species exhibit markedly different reactions to the thundering shound on the cabin roof.
