Climate change is about recognizing and reconciling the fundamental differences within our globe, our community, and our families. The feet of a father and son are shown here. It aptly depicts the outward differences despite blood ties, but serves to emphasize that despite physical, cultural, or language differences, we will all be affected by climate change. 4-H Clover College is a four-day series of hands-on workshops for youth presented by Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County. Many of the projects made during the sessions are eligible to be exhibited at the Lancaster County Super Fair in August.

In the “Make a Difference” workshop, youth helped with several local community service projects. They made 27 gift bags for the Fresh Start Home, 113 mini first aid kits for the Peoples City Mission, and 84 reusable meal tray covers and 20 centerpieces for Holmes Lake Manor.
