4-H Clover College is a four-day series of hands-on workshops for youth presented by Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County. Many of the projects made during the sessions are eligible to be exhibited at the Lancaster County Super Fair in August.

You can tell the difference between a hot and a not so hot Jalapeno by the aging that occurs.
Bottom is a young jalapeno, it's skin is smooth it's very dark green which gets darker the older it is and its shiny.
Above is the extreme, a very mature Jalapeno, the age lines, the red tint that appears after the darkest green has gone, these are all indicators that this will be one of the hottest Jalapenos you may eat.
I took this picture in the girls dorm parking lot. This picture shows how much difference there is just in the Hendrix community, one person is driving a old 1990's sedan while rite next to it you have a fairly new mustang.

I just noticed that this picture I took of an alpaca looks very similar to the charcoal sketch of a Llama I have hanging on the nearby wall. Freaky Kontiki!
All these Swiss Chard plants were from the same sowing, but the larger ones were planting out in the garden earlier, while the smaller ones remained in a pot. Swiss Chard are hardy plants, so the smaller ones will catch up, or we'll have a staggered harvest (which is good).

It is with a heavy heart that I write this last editorial for the T&E Bulletin, having led this wonderful organisation since 2004. The obvious question to ask now is ‘Have we made a difference?’
