totoro. crayon melt. yes, this is my bedroom. yes, i did make the crayon melt. yes, i do like studio ghibli.
today was my brother's birthday and he had some friends over while my mother and i sat in the front room playing scrabble and checkers with a disney chess set.
life is good.
but i have no idea why i am this tired.
regardless....
a few things about this:
i'm wearing the lumberjack plaid and like the connection that has with the wooden nature of this antiquish set of scrabble...plus i am a dork as the letters spell out but i am also a nerd, as in nerdfighter, and am wearing my 3D glasses with the lenses punched out because awesomeman Hank Green invented glasses that allow the wearer to watch a 3D movie in 2D and avoid the headaches.
Margo Roth Spiegelman spotted in the teen section of the AADL as part of Nerdfighter Hank Green's latest song/videoblog.

Oh, and DFTBA.
Came in January 10, 2012 the release date. I GOT A HANKLERFISH! :) So cool.
Besides J.K. Rowling, John Green is my favorite author (being the person who wrote Paper Towns, my favorite book) and despite the fact Paper Towns is my favorite book, TFiOS may actually beat it. I have been listening to the audio book in John Green's voice and its confirming that its my favorite book. I love the dialog between Hazel and Augustus. I love Isaac's character and I like the feel of this book.
Being a fan of Esther Earl when she was a part of HPA and getting the chance to inbox her through Youtube for a few years, I feel the weight when I saw it was dedicated to her. I think she would be proud of John and I wore my TSWGO bracelet for her while reading it :)
This book is an amazing book, I recommend it to everyone who can get their hands on it. Its beautiful, hilarious, tragic, and real.
Kay well I am done nerding out. READ THIS AMAZING BOOK PEOPLE!
DFTBA Nerdfighters :) <3
The energy level in the audience was very high. It was pretty dang fun, even if I had a few flashbacks to my high school self and corresponding antics. :)
We actually were pretty close to the stage, which was awesome in itself, but it was something I really appreciated at the end of the night when our seating order deteremined how long we would have to wait to have things signed.

genesis stopped by before she left to give me the autographed copy of An Abundance of Katherines (and so she could see all of the kittens)
i'm going to read it next weekend so that i can rightfully devote a good amount of my time toward the awesomeness that is John Green's writing.
tonight i'm sleeping over at val's and then we're going to the beach tmrw.

DFTBA- local nerdfighter
The book was lying on my floor originally propped up in this position. I'd got it out of my book cupboard for one reason or another, I really don't remember, and put it back there rather than in it's original place (as any teenager with a knack for easily making a messy room would). Anyway, I looked over and thought it was in a position that would go nicely in a well-angled photo. This is also one of the best books I've read as a teenager. John green is a bit of a genius isn't he? ;)
