I recently fell in love with the vlogbrothers, which led me to fall in love with John Green's book Paper Towns. If you haven't read it already, go to your library and read it. Seriously. It's incredible.
I think once this project is over, I'm going to start writing again.

Almost a year ago, I posted my Benjamin Cook custom minifig .
Some time ago, Alex Day from the band Chameleon Circuit contacted me. He had seen Ben’s fig and asked me if I could create an Alex fig for him. As always, I couldn’t resist the typical British charm.
I agreed, we talked a bit and decided to create the whole band with all their members: Alex Day , Charlie McDonnell , Liam Dryden , Ed "Eddplant" Blann and Michael Aranda . It was a bit of an effort, but also a lot of fun. Every band member is kind, courteous, friendly and – like the 10th Doctor would have said – brilliant.
The Band Chameleon Circuit is known for creating music inspired by the British television series Doctor Who. Composed of popular UK YouTube vloggers and Doctor Who fans, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2009, followed by the album "Still got Legs" in 2011.

So I woke up at 10, ate some breakfast and then my Mum announced that my book had come!!!!
So I started reading at 11, and I read, and I read, and I read until half five. I did not move even once. I did not pause to eat or anything. This is what I am like when one of the best books in the world gets delivered to my house.
It was as good as Alaska and Katherines.

So one week ago, Hank and John Green (two youtubers, check them out at youtube.com/vlogbrothers) had a show/book signing in NYC and i was lucky enough to be able to go.
These two guys are two of my heroes, so it was really amazing to get to meet them and get John's books signed by him, and Hank signed his CDs... it was so cool. They seem like such great guys, and it was just an awsome experience :)
Check out John's new book The Fault In Our Stars, i read it and it was just incredible. very moving :) DFTBA! (don't forget to be awsome ;) )

Went to school for registration today. My friends and I have a lot of classes together and I got some really great teachers, so I'm really excited. But I've got to finish APUSH...ugh...
Em again because I seriously only have one friend. But she is my BEST FRIEND. and she is the best friend I could ever have. She is always (metaphorically and physically speaking) there for me. For reasons unknown to me she is insecure and afraid. But she is strong. She goes through so much but she still finds a way to see good in the world. written on her hand is the word "GrAy" just like that. I asked why. and she said "It's the color of meh. I really like gray. I don't want to be gray but I like it". She thinks she sucks at writing and that she isn't deep and that she's just emotionless. Obviously those are LIES because she writes me the nicest letters and helps me through the hardest of times. I love her. Em, thank you for being my best friend. DFTBA.
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green was released today. Took back some bottles and cans to pick up this book. The cool thing about it is that every book from the first printing is signed by John, all 150,000 of them. DFTBA!

The Llyr Class Aircraft Carrier, named after the Celtic God of the Sea, is the newest installment and flagship of the Scottish Royal Navy. She is under the classification of supercarrier, carrying a boat-load (no pun intended) of aircraft of all kinds.
The HMS Llyr, the first of her class, is ready for action with an assortment of VLS and other anti-aircraft weapons. Guns really shoot! :D
On an IRL note I'm pretty pleased with this here carrier. As *hopefully* you can see the hull is entirely SNOT.

Say hi to John Green and his adorable son, Henry. Which I met today in Amsterdam. I met up with a couple of Nerdfighters, which was so amazing since it was my 1st meet-up. It was some sort of suprise party in which we welcomed John Green to Amsterdam where he'll be staying for the next 2 months. I had such an amazing day and let's just finished this with an appropriate ending: best wishes and DFTBA!

It's a reference to the photograph's subject, a dream catcher. Titling is one of my many specialities (pronounced improperly: spesh-ee-ahl-it-ees). Indeed.
Today was nice. Woke up at 10, a few minutes too late. The water in our WHOLE DORM was turned off for maintance. I realized that because I got the email two days ago, but hey. I was late to get up after I slept through my 9:20 alarm. Suckage. So to solve the un-showered problem I just hit the sack again and slept till 2. Awesome right? Yay midweek weekends. So got up at 2, checked water, was frustrated at lack thereof, listened to alexes dream about a whole lot of things (he has crazy dreams, but don't we all? His involved a girl named Tuna, awesome right?) then he went to brush his teeth and the water was finally back! So I took a fast shower, got dressed in a hurry, and stepped outside half-shirtless to tell John to wait for me for his bike ride. Then I threw my shirt on, cologned up and rolled out with the gang (Ashley, John, Meghan) to hit up Perry Rubber bike shop. From there went to a bank to deposit a check, then had lunch with Kahla at the sub shop, which we ate back in my room. After that everyone went to class, then I listened to drinking stories from Bailey, Kahla, and Ariel. Fun times. Then began the hanging with alexis and being awesome and we asked Michelle to take me to JCPenny to pick up some fancypants (litterally) for the wedding. To which i will wear sneakers. Because I failed to get dress shoes. Because that's stupidly expensive. Anyway, this picture was taken in Michelle's car on the way to JCP. It was everyone's favorite from today. Yes I polled everyone hanging out in my room to make the decision. What can I say, I'm not feeling decisive.
Upon returning, I hit up The Spot with alex, meghan, and alexis, and Desirée, emily, and john joined later. After that watched the National Geographic Photographers DVD my uncle got me with everyone from our hall and really enjoyed it. Then hung out, looked at pictures from the last two days of my constant lens-and-flash practice and then proceeded to type all this. Now I need to sleep because I have an 8AM makeup class, scheduled breakfast with Abi (FRIEND FROM COLORADO, sister of the groom) and all my SCAD friends tomorrow at JOs at 10:30. See you there.

That feeling when you're scrolling through your Instagram feed, and see that one of your favorite authors just posted something cryptic that possibly could be his phone number, and you realize that the last 4 digits spell STAR, which is your middle name and also part of the title of his most famous, book which is one of your top 10 favorite books ever (The Fault In Our Stars) and you decide it's a sign that you have to at least try calling, because WHAT IF? And so you dial the number (while holding your breath), and he answers, and you recognize his voice from his vlogbrothers videos on Youtube, and you talk for a minute, and he is funny and friendly and humble --- FANTASTIC! I am more excited than ever to read John Green's new book (Turtles All The Way Down, coming out Oct 10), and am pretty sure it won't suck despite what he says (swipe left to listen to our chat), and can I also add that I'm completely impressed with this clever marketing tactic? Did I mention that I can't wait to read the book? The moral of this story, that is really more run-on sentence than anything else, is even if something seems unlikely to be possible, and you feel a little unnerved, you should still take a chance and go for it! You might find yourself feeling surprised and make a new friend! PS: I immediately added John's phone number to my contacts and will never ever delete it. PSS: Go pre-order this book. PSSS: Don't forget to be awesome.

His speech was awesome, of course, funny and insightful and...well the bit about Gary Busey was a bit odd. But overall, fantastic. I ruthlessly berated myself for not saying hi first at the autograph signing, but honestly, I really don't even care. I got John Green's squiggle.

New Missile Cruiser. Made to take the role of Missile Boats in some situations, as missile boats are small and easily sunk. The Robert I contains a whole load of serious VLS systems on board, capable of firing almost any kind of missiles needed to be launched. Cruise Missiles primarily, though.
I will also have a grand and new carrier up in a day or two, SNOT hull and all.
