a portrait of dex in oils.
if you met him, you'd understand why his mouth is open :)
see my profile for more details.
this is dex this was def an accident we were ling up his head shot and i oer zoomed on the wide angle (17-40mm f4 L) and this is the result haha good to know its a versatile lens and i can use it for live shots as well as promos and portraits because of the distortion but for nearly $800 i think it should be at least f2.8 but still i love this lens to deathhhh
things savign to buy 85mm 1.8, and upgrading my 50 1.8 to a 50 1.4 for obvious reasons
Today's story and sketch "by me" you see the most famous film director here in Saugus, he is Dex Gofish,
their is one other but she only does short films, actually dog food commercials, very good ones but
nothing that are nearly the five hour block busters like Dex's feature films. And we are here today at the set
of what may be his finest movie yet.
Dex is not only staring, and directing, but also wrote the screenplay, and is doing
all of the stunts, and intimate R rated scenes. Dex came to Earth and started his carrier in movies after graduating
from "FSU" Flotsam Sinematic Upwind, film school on lippo his home moon. The film will be shot today,
all of it, and in the can as they say in film lingo, (why in a can no one knows, the whole production will be
on a memory stick, but that is a story for another time), Dex does not believe in long drawn out productions.
Today's low budget movie is called "8to9", the story of a lonely secretary named Jane who works at a movie studio,
spends lots of time with her girlfriends, who work in the makeup, wardrobe, and plastic surgery divisions
of Dexter Gofish Productions, she gets a makeover on a Friday marries the boss the following Saturday on the
beach in Malibu,
(actually it was Dex in real life), which is just about the whole story.
Watch for it at the Oscars this fall, till next time taa ta the Rod Blog.
Living life the way you want it, is better than any movie.

We don’t know yet exactly what’s wrong but he has a lot of fluid on his lungs and he’s struggling to breathe. He’s on some medication for a week to clear out the fluid before we go back and get more X-rays hopefully figuring out what’s going on. I’ve been sharing his photos here for 10 years. | December 16, 2021
(title by my sister)
Abby and I went for a walk two days ago and came back with this little man. His sibling and Mom are still in the neighborhood. I've been back many times to visit them, they both seem skinny, but otherwise active and healthy. I'll keep visiting to see how their doing. If I can come up with any extra money I'd love to get Mom fixed, she can't be more than 6 months old herself. First in line though, is Grumples older brother who visits twice a day to eat and hang out.
This little guy didn't even have the strength to move away from me and Abby. He hissed but didn't move. He was very weak... white gums, all bones, fleas and scraggly hair.
He's doing much better thanks to a little trip to Pet Pal Animal Shelter. They gave him fluids, dewormer and some good food and supplements.
He's already decided that being near Abby is a good thing. I'm amazed by how much the little pipsqueaks are drawn to her (pictures to come.)
Send good strong healthy thought to this little man.
A photo freezes the impossible. Truly, they reveal the human body's incredible ability.
