Not a bad view

This year, Guruji's Appearance Day was celebrated with great devotion and reverence at Sri Vitthala Dham. The sacred event commenced with the offering of 108 yajnas by devotees.

Following this, a Paduka abhishekam was performed at the lotus feet of Guruji, filling the atmosphere with divine energy and grace. Devotees were then given the rare and blessed opportunity to bow their heads at His feet and offer flowers.

As the night unfolded, everyone gathered in the main hall, seated in a traditional Indian style—on the floor in neat rows—bringing a sense of unity and simplicity. During the community dinner, heartfelt speeches were shared. Devotees recounted beautiful and personal experiences with Guruji, each story echoing the profound impact of His presence in their lives.

The evening concluded with soul-stirring Shabads sung by the Sikhis from Amritsar. Their divine music created a deeply reflective space, allowing everyone to look inward and contemplate their journey with Guruji.

It is through His divine incarnation that we have been gifted with a spiritual path and a living relationship with God. His presence continues to guide, uplift, and transform all who walk this sacred journey.

Hugging my Mistress's legs at the Dominion

Eyes glued to his master. I could have set a bomb off and the dog wouldn't have looked at me. Isn't that a great face though?

Welcome to a night in the office from hell.

It’s 1983 and in an abandoned workplace in the Midlands, two solitary clerical workers sit down at their desks to begin a routine night shift. But as the evening creeps into the night, a confidential file is accidentally opened and a quietly horrifying secret is unleashed. A secret that’ll soon turn their lives of rotas, packed lunches and fag breaks violently upside down and the workers, against each other.

A fantasy thriller with a pounding 1980s soundtrack, Stoke-on-Trent’s Potboiler Theatre invite you to a world of ruthless ambition, desperate escapism and deeply held desires: a world of Devotion.

Devotion was supported with funding from National Lottery through Arts Council England and Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council. With thanks also to New Vic Theatre, Mitchell Arts Centre and Moonbrushed Media.

The Chief priest of Nagulaambigai Sametha Sri Naguleswara Perumaan temple (commonly known as Naguleswaram temple) Kumaraswamy Naguleswara Kurukkal (85). He has been the integral part of the temple from 1947 at the age of 22, and has served here for more than six decades with great dedication and devotion with a smiling face always

Armenia, the oldest Christian nation in the world has amazing monasteries scattered around the country (more of them here in the coming weeks).

Besides the beautiful monasteries the Armenians have unique crosses, called khachkars. Crosses made on thick stones, carved out and covered with rosettes and botanical motifs. The khachkars were made from the 9th century onward.

This cross here is probably from the 7th century. I found it near an old monastery that was very much covered by trees etc. Even though the church was not in use, some-one had very carefully layed this stone against a tree. It was such a loving, caring and respectful thing to do.
