We're living in a time that a concealed past is revealed, like child abuse by priests and nuns. This statue in an abbey near Brouillet, France reminded me of times that religious constitution was incontestable and we had to shut up and pay respect.

Our camp site was edged in thick underbrush and we soon discovered a pair of Cardinals nesting right beside our camper. I grabbed the camera and took a couple of shots but didn't linger because it was obvious she was nervous. She stayed right there and her devotion impressed me. Taken at Huntington Beach, SC

Welcome to a night in the office from hell.

 

It’s 1983 and in an abandoned workplace in the Midlands, two solitary clerical workers sit down at their desks to begin a routine night shift. But as the evening creeps into the night, a confidential file is accidentally opened and a quietly horrifying secret is unleashed. A secret that’ll soon turn their lives of rotas, packed lunches and fag breaks violently upside down and the workers, against each other.

 

A fantasy thriller with a pounding 1980s soundtrack, Stoke-on-Trent’s Potboiler Theatre invite you to a world of ruthless ambition, desperate escapism and deeply held desires: a world of Devotion.

 

Devotion was supported with funding from National Lottery through Arts Council England and Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council. With thanks also to New Vic Theatre, Mitchell Arts Centre and Moonbrushed Media.

I just couldn't resist to snap a picture as this young woman was kneeling in front of the Grotto. There was a lot of devotion in her posture.

The festival is held annually to celebrate Dol Purnima (full moon) programme highlighting the philosophy of Lalon.

Vicar shared a great devotion about being thankful. His back would have been a little warm....

We went to a Hare Krishna temple today. It is set in lovely countryside and is really great. The kids love it. Am a devout atheist (yes I know it is an oxymoron) but I can see how others can be faithful.
