Mmmm, deviled eggs! I made 2 different versions, classic and chipotlé. Planned to make this for Thanksgiving Dinner 2008, but I ended up not having time. Oh well, more for me, and freaking delicious!

On Pi Day, Stephen and I tried a new restaurant that sources from local farms. Very homey atmosphere, and the food was amazing (I also had a mushroom pot pie with pickled mushroom salad and fennel). We didn't have a chance to go out and take real pics with real cameras, so it's a good thing I grabbed this hasty and ill-focused shot with my phone, as it is by default my pic for 3/14/13.

Deviled Eggs On Christmas Platter

(We brought leftovers home on this platter on Christmas, and brought the platter back on Easter, using it then to serve the deviled eggs we made -- their filling partially made with garbanzo beans.)

I bought a cake decorator a few years ago in the $1 aisle at Target. Nadja puts it to good use for Deviled Eggs.

The deviled eggs were gone approximately 46 seconds later

There was nothing vegan about our deviled eggs. Sorry vegans.

By the time I left work, got home and cooked dinner it was 8:30pm. So today's photo is of the Deviled Eggs with fresh dill I just made as (part) of my dinner.

Fried walleye, pasta salad, french fries, and a deviled egg. I also ate plenty while preparing all of the food.

This simple Halloween treat is deviled eggs embellished with sliced pimento stuffed olives for pupils and red food coloring painted in the whites using toothpicks.

My mom bought this 'bento' box for me. It's made by Lock & Lock, and I love it. I hesitate to call this a bento, because it is far from dressed up and pretty... but it is food that I love within the confines of a segmented box, and that is too long to be a title. ;)
