Devil’s Dyke, Wheathampstead is a massive ditch approximately 470m long and12m deep. It was constructed during the Iron Age and formed the main defences of the Catavelaunii tribe. It was probably where the British chieftain Cassivellaunus was defeated by Julius Caesar in 54 B.C.

This is a painting of Devil's Slide (just north of Yellowstone National Park's north entrance in Gardiner, Montana) by Thomas Moran, done in the field on the 1871 Hayden expedition. The picture on the far left is the painting, the middle picture shows the direction of the geologic slide as viewed from above, and the picture on the right shows what I see as an image of a devil's face in profile in the rocks. Here is an image of the Devil's Slide:

The Devils Marbles is a large field of boulders in the central Australian desert of the Northern Territory. There is an overnight camping area and it is wonderful to experience sunset and sunrise amongst the huge stones. The site is known as Karlu Karlu to the land's Aboriginal traditional owners.

PRAD, ITALY - DECEMBER 04: Members of the Koatlacker devil's association (Koatlacker Tuifl) dressed as demonic creatures take part in a Krampus procession on December 4, 2011 in Prad near Merano, Italy. In the tradition, which involves elaborate masks, some of which are centuries old, the devils accompany St. Nicholas when he visits little children to determine who has been good or bad, and the tradition is still practiced in Austria, southern Germany and the South Tyrol region of northern Italy. This is Devil's Bridge just outside Kirkby Lonsdale. The bridge is a popular meeting place for bikers, for some reason. Apparently the yellow & blue bridge in the background is just known as "The New Bridge" - if anyone wants to put me right on that, feel free!
