This is part of my design process for the final rhino line drawing poster for my animal campaign. These were the development pages of my continuous line work where I explored how I could improve my initial pen drawings to be used on posters. I mainly experimented with using primary colours to create visual impact. Taking this further, I drew far more detailed designs to place in artist copies to add realism and help bring the animals and their plight to life.

Aalto University School of Business, University of Tampere and UNU-WIDER in collaboration with the Nordic Network in Development Economics held the 2018 Nordic Conference on Development Economics on 11-12 June 2018 in Helsinki, Finland.

The conference bought together Nordic and international scholars for the exchange of ideas and discussion of recent results within theoretical and applied development economics research.

All from the same floret, the ones near the bottom mature faster than those at the top of the spike. Earliest development only show the anthers (central floret has fully developed anthers), later florets (to the right) show well developed stigma. The last one on the right has three stigma, which I think is more unusual.

 

For an idea of scale, the background is velcro hoops.
