Day 267 [9-23-2016]
It is autumn! Yesterday I forgot to mention that it was the first day of autumn. Now my second favorite season has arrived! Winter is my favorite. Why do I love autumn? I will explain. Autumn is what I like to call, the season of mystery. The feeling that I get seeing all of the dead trees, the color orange filling the world, and the cold weather rushing in is one of mystery and thrill. I love it! This is my go to storytelling season. Every time I write a piece of fiction i write it taking place in the season of autumn. I have just always had a special connection to it. Anyway, today George stopped by and gave me a taste of freedom from my home which I can't thank him enough for. We got drinks at Starbucks, picked up Alex from work, and took some pictures at the reservoir that is so low that it is kind of scary. Hopefully we get some damn rain in this town soon. For what is to come, this weekend will either be a lot of fun or just another do nothing weekend. Lets hope for the fun.
I can't wait to see what the next day brings!
David Suchet (of Poirot fame) is seen on the right in this picture on board Butty 'Raymond' which with 'Nutfield' alongside, is about to enter Braunston Marina to officially open the 2018 Braunston Historic Boat rally.

Pika Pika!
This build has a movable tail, head, arms, ears, and legs.
He carries with him a magnifying glass, hat, and coffee cup.
I don't really enjoy Pokemon (Sorry for all you fans) But after seeing the trailer for the new movie; I thought it looked awesome!
So, I ended up building this. What do you think? Please comment! :D
Have a good day.
"Yes, he was here. He played for the table stakes of 100k, winner take all. He did not take all."
"Where did he go after that?"
"He was light, something was said about him working it off."
Today I had the great honour of attending the opening of an exhibition by the National Library of Ireland entitled "Photo Detectives". Believe it or not (and no sniggering at the back, please) I am, somehow, among the National Library's Photo Detectives, although I am probably the Inspector Clouseau of the group. Each day the National Library posts a photo from their archive, on Flickr, with some sort of mystery to it - a group of unknown people attending a known or unknown event; an incredibly charismatic man or woman (or child) captured by the lens of a great photographic artist; the interior of a great house - but which great house? Or a street in 19th century Ireland, but in which city, and where, and are the houses still standing? Some of the people who solve these mysteries are utter geniuses and the methods they use to solve the mysteries are so inspiring these people would easily be top notch detectives, or intelligence agents. And some probably are. Some guard their identities closely, others were willing to turn up today and introduce themselves as the First Lady, Sabina Higgins, gave a rousing speech to open the exhibition into the work of the Photo Detectives. It's an adventure!
Can you find me in the above pic? And, if you're a Photo Detective, can you find yourself?
