Fastrack liveried and branded 4320 GN15 CXT is seen on St Johns Lane, Hartley whilst working route 433. Friday 6th May 2016.

A Fastrack StreetLite on other duties is still uncommon and the vehicle is replaced at the earliest possible opportunity. On this particular day 4320 was replaced by 4061 upon arrival at Bluewater on this very working.

First shooting with Sarah.

We went in a parking to try some "under ground grounge" looks.

And as she was seating here, I have seen this "dark composition".

It is for me the expression of depseration.

Is it working?

Desperate - The Killes

Monstrously tall cornstalks sway wildly in the outflow of an advancing thunder storm. Just a few weeks ago this field was populated with innocuous looking tiny green sprigs. But corn grows at an alarming rate. It now towers three feet over my head, blocking all view of the adjacent landscape. It seems dense and impenetrable where once was open and airy. It's changed the entire look and feel of this environment. At times that change takes on a sinister and even ominous overtone which absolutely thrills me. I love when everyday places are transformed by circumstances into dark places that heighten one's sense of awareness and hint at unseen peril. Corn fields check those boxes for me. Especially when storms whip the stalks into a frenzy of motion. It's very unsettling to be among the rows when the fury of weather is unleashed. The sound of wind rustling the leaves overwhelms all else. Impossible to hear normal sounds of birds and nature amid this cacophony. The only other noise able to penetrate the howling wind is the crack of thunder, a terrifying wildcard in the turbulent approach of a storm. And lately the storms have coincided with sunset. The dusk leaches away the vibrant color of daylight and fills in the highlights with deep shadow. Wonderful time for the imagination to go wild as the visual world is reduced to the most basic form and shape.

Miri had the meeting in a tavern, located about three miles away from Avon. Only a few people showed up.

"Secure the area!" one of the Lenfel men bellowed as he came in. "I want this building queen-proof. There had better be a good reason for you to call us here, Miri. What is it."

Miri shrugged. "I don't know. Ask him."

I stepped over to the table. "Evening, gentlemen. I understand that you war leaders don't talk much."

The oldest leader slammed his spear into the ground. "Not at all. But let me guess. You and your Loreesi scum talk all the time."

I tensed. "Well, yes."

The captain-looking one drew his sword and stalked toward me. "You Loreesi!"

I jumped backward. "Whoa whoa whoa! Umm. . . We are all fugitives now -- outlaws in the eyes of the Queen! It's time we three nations start working together!" those words sounded familiar I glanced over to Miri. She had a grin plastered all over her face. Obviously, those words were familiar to her too.

He lowered his sword. "Humph. Speak."

I stepped back to the table. "Yes, uh, right. Let's cut to the point. We need to work together to stop the Queen's invasion. If we do, I think we have a good chance of winning."

The big Lenfel pointed his chicken leg at me. "We would have to be pretty desperate to have a Loreesi lead us."

Miri stepped up. "Ah, but he has experience with large-scale military strategy, something none of us have."

Big Burly's brother lowered his bottle. "Still, it has to look pretty hopeless to have a Loreesi help us."

Just then, the door flew open as a scout ran in. "Outlaws! Massing just to the east of us! We're caught between a hammer and an anvil!"

Mr. Chicken-Pointer shook his head. "What's your plan, Loreesi."

Another collaboration with a fashion designer. This time the dress was only one. Thanks to the makeup artist, who crafted a perfect "Bree Van de Kamp" from this beautiful polish model. I decided to give a fifties look to the pictures using bright colors and contrasts, and (especially in this picture) strong shadows on her face to give a "killer" feeling.

The second part of the Travel Photography Guide: Tuscany is ONLINE NOW!

Better don't miss that!

This image came into being while staying in Vernazza for one night.

We decided to stay there, without a hotelroom or anything.

When we arrived we found out that there was a big festival the same day: Aria!

There were some really good musical acts but my personal highlight of the night was the duo Bilbobasso, who performed an awesome fire/dance show with intense music.

I was lucky to watch it from the first row, and took some really good shots with me from there.

This is the beginning of a series about this show.

Stay tuned.
