This was taken recently at the butterfly garden at my daughters elementary school where you certainly can get an eye full of Black-eyed Susan's.
This is dedicated to my sister L-Wood, who today is celebrating her birthday!
Taken a few weeks ago, I couldn't see what was stopping it fall. Enlargement revealed that it was spider's web.

Desperate Dan is a wild west character in the now-defunct Scottish comic magazine The Dandy, and became its mascot. He made his appearance in the first issue which was dated 4 December 1937. He is apparently the world's strongest man, able to lift a cow with one hand. The pillow of his (reinforced) bed is filled with building rubble and his beard is so tough he shaves with a blowtorch.
The character was created by Dudley D. Watkins, originally as an outlaw or ‘desperado’ (hence his name), but evolved into a more sympathetic type, using his strength to help the underdog. After Watkins’ death in 1969, the cartoons were drawn by many other artists, principally Ken H. Harrison, though the Watkins canon was often recycled. When the Dandy became digital-only in 2012, the Desperate Dan strips were drawn by David Parkins.
There is a statue of Dan in Dundee, Scotland, where his publishers, D. C. Thomson & Co. are based.

[Confrontation with Death Crab]
Death Crab was so much stronger than I expected.
His special move, "Bleach bubbles," caused some of my reinforced cyber costume to show through and my sword to melt.
When I thought, "I'm done for!😣", The voice echoed.
"Hey you!!! Kinky crab!!! Hold on a sec!!!"

Ihr kennt sicher das Gefühl, im Auto auf der Autobahn - ihr seht ein Naturschauspiel, wollt es fotografieren und könnt aber nirgendwo stoppen.
Auf dem Weg nach Hause sah ich dieses Spiel aus Licht und Schatten. Zum Glück in der Nähe einer Abfahrt kurz nach einer kleinen Brücke... Also runter von der Autobahn, verzweifelt den Feldweg gesucht, der zu dieser landwirtschaftlichen Brücke führt und das Auto abgestellt. Überlegt, welche Linse gut wäre und dann...
... sogar noch mit der Silhouette eines landenden Fallschirmspringers belohnt worden.
Manchmal hat man Glück und ist zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort...

You know the feeling in a car on the highway - you can see a natural spectacle, want to take a photograph but can't stop anywhere (German law on highways).
On my way home I saw these light and shadows. Luckily near an exit just after a small bridge ... Down from the highway, desperately wanted the dirt road that leads to this agricultural bridge and parking my car. Think about what lens would be good, and then ...
... I was even rewarded with the silhouette of a landing parachutist.
Sometimes you get lucky at right time at the right place ...
For fans of the classic RhB, the 11th hour is here. With the Dec 11th timetable change, the classic loco hauled services on the Disentis - Scuol Tarasp line are planned to be replaced by new Stadler Capricorn EMUs. I had planned a final trip to the Scuol end of the line to coincide with the fall foliage season but as Murphys law goes, on the weekends I had free time the weather was poor, when I was busy with non train things it was sunny. Last Thursday I saw a decent weather forecast emerging and hurriedly booked tickets for a "15 minute adventure" over the weekend. In addition to the forecast the Ardez webcam promised some snow accumulation at the higher elevations. After a grueling "night train" trip from Mainz aboard IC 60403 I arrive in Grabunden to clearing skies. Shortly before "licht aus" I captured my favorite shot of the the day as the 13:41 from Scuol to Disentis approaches Ardez with red Ge 4/4 626 leading. Not seconds later the mountain shadows descended on the tracks.

Winter continues to hang on here with cold temps and more snow falling this morning. I am in search of color and will take it wherever I can find it... in this case, a wonderful local yarn shop.
