Detroit Lake is one of the man made lakes used for flood control of the Willamette River. Each fall they draw it down to receive the runoff from the Cascade's snowfall exposing these tree trunks. I like the desolate look of this vantage point and thought it looked better in this cyanotype preset.

My daughter only allowed me to take one picture of her this weekend. Too bad to because the mountain range in Arizona was beautiful on Sunday!!! Oh well, take what I can get ;)

Headed out to Banner Marsh with the rest of the Peoria Flickr group admin/mods for a small nature shoot. We were headed out to the sunflower fields, but ended up spending a few hours driving all around the marsh and capturing a variety of images. The majority of these were shot right around sunset.

Possibly my favourite photograph from all that I've uploaded so far (march 2008). Not really sure why, though.

This is off of my second roll (of 120 that I have ever shot) through my new Bronica. My husband, my best friend, my muse, and the love of my life decided that he would purchase me "veronica" for Christmas. I am ecstatic to have a new focus for my life. Luckiest girl EVER!
