Sometimes everything is grey, even if colors walk around us. Sometimes it's ok but most part of times it's just our brain shutting down for those other colors with no reason at all. How could a sight be so right when we do everything to make it wrong?

San Felipe Trip
to reach San Felipe from Mexicali, its about 2 hours driving over a desert.. if i could describe it with one word.. desolate would be it
Desolation? Lord! Desolation is a railroad station 'round about 2am on a week night. When you walk into Desolation like that and suddenly, out of nowhere comes a warm song - You aren't about to forget it!
Not actually a railroad station at 2am on a weeknight, this is the plaza outside Bishops See round 12 noon on a Sunday. Mind you, I imagine it'd be pretty desolate regardless of time or date.

Last week Desolation Row aka mscrant1971 meet for a little photo trip around the Florida/Georgia border. We an excellent time and will meet up again for a longer day of photography and maybe some beers.

This was once a site of a wildfire and the area has recovered quite a bit since then. We have also been through a little bit of a drought here in California so the reeds that are usually in water have dried out causing the place to look a bit desolate.
