Nous étions à observer les oies sur le réservoir, en fin d'après-midi : 16:30h. Derrière nous, sur un lampadaire, ce harfang des neiges vint faire le guet en quête de proies faciles sur la berge.

We were watching the geese on the reservoir, late afternoon: 16: 30h. Behind us, on a lamppost, the snowy owl came to keep watch in search of easy prey on the bank.

Photographed November 2018 / Rolleiflex 'Old Standard' TLR with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 7.5cm/3.5 lens. Film was ILFORD 3200 DELTA PRO metered at ASA 800 developed in PYROCAT-HD (5ml A + 25ml B > 600ml, 8min @ 20*C). Negative was illuminated on a light panel and 'scanned' with an iPad mini using the Film Scanner app. The image was processed and finished in Flickr. (This image is the property of the photographer do not reproduce it without my consent). A remarkable moment; photographed at the instant the sun burned through the mist ....the light seemed to fold around everything even the darkest shadows were glowing with the first rays of the day; shivered and dissolved in light. Strange that the latest high speed film technology combines with old lens technology to enable photographs like this to be made with a handheld camera. When this Rolleiflex camera was manufactured (circa. 1934) such high speed films as ILFORD 3200 DELTA PRO were only dreamed of.

Wenn ich die Wesen,
hohe und niedere,
die in der Vergangenheit gelebt haben,
sorgfältig betrachte,
merke ich, dass nun nichts als ihre Namen bleiben.
Und von allen Wesen
die jetzt leben, wird jedes eines Tages sterben.
Da alles - mein jetziger Status, mein Haus, meine Verwandten, meine Freunde, mein Besitz und selbst dieser Körper
vergehen muss,
woran hänge ich in dieser traumartigen Gegenwart ?
Ein gutes Leben, das wahrhaft bedeutungsvoll ist,
ist immer schwer zu finden.
Und selbst wenn man es findet, so ist es doch unbeständig
und wird schnell zerstört –
wie ein Tautropfen, der an einem Grashalm haftet.

Coincidint avui que segons la pel·lÃcula "Regreso al futuro" he decidit pujar una foto que vaig fer fa un parell d'anys a una bonic tren cremallera situat a la frontera entre el PaÃs Basc i l'Aquità nia. Si no l'heu visitat mai és molt recomanable anar-hi (encara que a la foto es vegi el fons de les antenes repetidores) pels bonics paisatges que es veuen des del cim de la muntanya i, justament, retornar uns anys al passat perquè els canvis d'agulla encara són manuals.
This is a cool place, this is the Carrières de Lumières in Les Baux-de-Provence in a park called Parc Naturel regional des Alpilles which is somewhere between Avignon and Marseille.
This former limestone quarry has tall flat walls where 70 laser projectors project movies and art on the walls and the floor. Together with a cinema grade soundsystem it creates a very immersive audio-visual experience.
It is pretty trippy. Kids love it too! They go absolutely bananas out there.
beim Ausputzen eines kleinen Gartenstückes für unsere Blumenwiese entdeckt ( waren nur die Gräser, die ich entfernen wollte...dabei hatte ich auf einmal das Nest des kleinen Gartenbewohners mit sieben Eiern in der Hand).....das Gelege des Zilpzalp......nun kann ich nicht weiter machen und muß wachsen lassen was wächst, um den kleinen Pieper bei seiner Brut nicht zu stören.....es ist ein Nest, das am Boden liegt !!!
