* Obsah: Nicolas Philibert byl nalezenec.Vyrostl v rodině obchodníka s vínem v Nantes Gosselina. Když dospěl,oženil se s jeho dcerou Charlottou. Bylo to 16. února 1786. Ctižádostivéa domýšlivé dívce však prostý Nicolas nestačil, a zakoukala se dobohatého barona. Žárlivý Nicolas barona zabil, a nezbylo mu, než sizachránit život útěkem do Ameriky. Přeplul oceán jako černý pasažérs prázdnou kapsou, ale za chvíli si vedl k oltáři dceru největšíhoboháče v kraji. Jenže těsně před osudným ano, vyšlo najevo, že Nicolasmá jednu ženu ve Francii. A právě v té době tam zuřila, nebo vítězila(?) revoluce. A jednou z jejích vymožeností byl zákon o rozvodu. A takNicolas znovu nasedl na loď. "Fortitudo" is an exhibition by Italian artist Paola Folicaldi Suh at the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine, Scotland, that is open until January 18, 2026. The exhibition features paintings inspired by Sir Ernest Shackleton's 1914-1917 Antarctic expedition aboard the Endurance. The art includes men's portraits in oil on sackcloth and mixed-media paintings on tapestry materials.

Zaměří se na rodinu Thora Carlssona, jednoho z vlivnýchprůmyslových magnátů Pittsburghu, a svede jeho důvěřivou dceru Dorothy,jeho plán však značně zkomplikuje její nečekané těhotenství. To totižvede mimo jiné k tomu, že otec Dorothy vydědí. Aby mu dívka nestálav cestě, Corliss ji zavraždí a protože se během jejich vztahu drželzpátky a poměrně úspěšně se vyhýbal zbytku rodiny, dokáže sezanedlouho dostat k Dorothině truchlící sestře, dvojčeti Ellen, proniknoutjí pod kůži a svést ji. Tentokrát si ovšem počíná opatrněji a vše muvychází bez nejmenších potíží. Vetře se do přízně Carlssona, získájeho souhlas a ožení se s Ellen. Velmi rychle se zabydlí v roli zetě azačíná si budovat postavení. Ellen se však snaží odhalit pravdu o smrtisvé sestry, protože nikdy ani na okamžik neuvěřila, že by mohlo jíto sebevraždu. Její pátrání však vedou k odhalení děsivějšímu, nežsi vůbec dokázala představit.(o-ficiální text distributora)

General Description:
With a total refit in 2007 this fabulous Souter 55 has got to be the best equipped and most beautifully presented yacht of its type in the world.
'Talisker' is a 1971 Souter 55, built by W.A Souter on the Isle of Wight. The hull is wood with a cascover finish. She has been in the same family since purchased at the London Boat show in 1972. Over the years she has been cruised in the Mediterranean and has been in the Cayman Islands since 2003, where she is lying now. Of an ageless design with beautiful lines this yacht is presented in immaculate condition following a $400,000 US Dollar refit in 2007.

The gored, regular length skirt V 1 & 2 and the gored, mini-length skirt V 3 have waistband and side zipper. The top with back zipper has lowered round neckline. Collarless V 1 & 2 have short set-in sleeves. Top-stitched V 1 has patch pockets, button trim and purchased belt. V 2 top contrasts skirt. V 3 with short puff sleeves gathered to sleeve bands has "two-piece" collar and button trim.

Historical note: Mr. John Young, of J. Broadwood & Sons, was in charge of the tuning department for thirty five years at the college. After several years instruction, the pupils gained experience by working in piano factories in London. Before entering the workforce, each student was required to pass an examination and obtain a certificate of proficiency from an expert authority on piano tuning. Mr. A. J. Hipkins, of Messrs. Broadwood & Sons was the college examiner for many years. The tuning department was supplied with models of different actions and other parts of a piano, which were renewed as new methods of construction were introduced by piano makers.
Biographical note: Sir Francis Joseph Campbell (1832-1914) was one of the founders of the Royal Normal College and principal from 1872-1912. In 1857 he joined the staff of Perkins and was head of the music department for 11 years. In 1909, Campbell became a naturalized British subject and was knighted by King Edward VII to honor his contributions to the education of the blind.
