One of the (many) great things about Lime Rock Park, Connecticut, is just how close you can get to some truly exotic machinery - in this case, historic Formula 1 cars. This is a 1978 Tissot Ensign Ford formerly driven by Derek Daly and driven at Lime Rock by Bud Moeller.

Tenor Derek Oldham was born in Accrington, Lancashire on 29th March 1887 and died in Portsmouth on 20th March 1968.
At nine years old he sang "Sweet Rosie O'Grady" in a Liverpool pantomime with Vesta Tilley as principal boy.
He joined the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company in August 1919 following distinguished service in World War I, in which he was awarded the Military Cross for gallantry.
In 1922 he left the D'Oyly Carte Co. and became a leading singing-actor at Drury Lane and other West End theatres throughout the 1920's - however he did return to the company numerous times.
He also appeared on the straight-stage and made a number of films
