Old abandoned train tracks that derailed 3 trains in the last 20 years. The railroad was eventually closed due to a derailment in 2005 where sulphuric acid had drenched the field beside where it had derailed.

On a walk through Upton Country Park this morning I noticed just how many dandelions were being used by the local bee population. A wonderful sight, especially when you get up and close and can see them covered in pollen!

Second try, I think I got it better this time...

This is a Modelization (Depth of Field effect) of a photo in compujeramey's PhotoStream. I have yet to really get his permission, so if he says no, this thing is coming down. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Made on a Mac by the way... My second attempt, but I think it turned out rather good... took me maybe 20 minutes to do the bulk of the effect, and another 20 to fine tune the blur effect for the stuff that was left clear by the initial step, like the basketball hoop and a few of the people....
