The weather here in Denmark is cold, grey, and miserable, so I found this picture in my archives to brighten up the day.
Found on a Zanzibar's beach, and after six years, still has some sand inside - a never ending story-.
My upstairs neighbor's bicycle is getting a soaking today. It's been chained to the front porch stairs railing all summer. I don't even think he rides it.

Just an eight pointed star of darker pink which made it really easy to get the whole bloom in focus. This must be a relative of the Prickle Petalled Flower.
We never really had winter.... this year.
and it seems like we skipped spring.
Flowers are blooming a lot lately since the weather is really nice.
these days it's been 70-80F / 25-28C. :D
First saturday with no assignments in very long time, so no fantastic landscapes for today’s image in my 30 day challenge. Instead some DoF fun in my living room.

Again, for my A Level, this time the category was "Near and Far", this one I'm quite pleased with. In the top right of the photo, the paper I was using as a background stopped, and so the was the rest of the room visible in that corner. But with a bit of Photoshop magic, I made it disappear!
Woo, over 10,000 views!! (:
Our fresh breakfast of Nigiri-zushi from one of the restaurants in the outer rim of Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, Japan.
I have been to this same restaurant twice. Right next door is a restaurant that has a huge line of people waiting to be seated. I don't wait for anything (other than potatoes during times of famine!), but I do wonder why everyone is waiting? Is it that good? This place is kinda empty both times. But the fish has to be very fresh and the chefs friendly. It all seemed pretty good, darn good, to me!
Tsukiji Market (築地市場, Tsukiji Shijō) is a large wholesale market for fish, fruits and vegetables in central Tokyo. It is the most famous of over ten wholesale markets that handle the distribution of fish, meat, produce and flowers in metropolitan Tokyo. Tsukiji Market is best known as one of the world's largest fish markets, handling over 2,000 tons of marine products per day.
