Flower
My homegrown Poppies from seeds planted from last years flowers. I love the intensity of these flowers, much brighter than the Welsh poppies.
Last years flowers can be seen below.

Shot with an unusual lens combination:
Mamiya-Sekor zoom 105-210 ULD
Vivitar MC 2x Tele converter & Nikon adapter.
Very difficult to focus but a nice bokeh.
This is Kuta "fake smile" . Don't misunderstand me, he is a happy dog, but he is now trained to pose, "smile" and then scurry over for a big treat in reward for his "hard work". Ah... the life of a pretty doggy. :)

#47 in my 100 x challenge - Monochrome
Had to make this really close as some of the flowers are dying already.
Sorry to post so many pics, I'm trying to catch up after a few days away with no internet. Will catch up with comments asap but only back for a couple of days before heading away again.

Theme: Depth of Field
We stopped to check out Castle Crags State Park while traveling from LA to Eugene.
I generally prefer shallow depth of field and bokeh over sweeping landscapes.
