Here's an old photo from our day snowshoeing in Snowy Range. I thought I'd give you an idea of the snow depth in places.

And yes, someone did encourage someone else to wear snowpants but someone was being stubborn and thought they weren't necessary. Fill in your own names.

My Kata backpack is kind of losing color. I'd love to switch out for the black one soon.

f/5, 1/160 sec, ISO 100, 36 mm. This photo is interesting to me. I like the shape from the droplets; they are interesting to look at. I also like the color from the leaf. There is texture from the wood and the leaf. I applied the rule of thirds by putting the leaf to the left.

In this immage I capted the moement by trowing a strawberry in a glass of water. I took the picture when the splash was made and you can se not only in the movement of the splash but also by the bubbles made at the top of the strawberries. To took that image I use a speed shutter of 1/200. It was easier because the movement was perpendicular to the camera!

Over the shoulder shot - experimenting with depth of field

It is just a bench in Foothill college. I took its corvature and tried depth of field.

My best photo is the one on the street corner of Seadsdie. It’s deep depth of field so the viewer can see down the whole street. This photo was shot during the theme of Living Life to the Fullest. The photo demonstrates this very well because it’s shot on a family vacation of mine. Compositional strategies used in this photo is color and leading lines. You see the brightly lit red and yellow sign contrasting with the blue sky. There is also leading lines on the sidewalk next to the theatre. It shows my growth because it proves that in real life situations I can capture a picture with people, lights, and streets.

My personal greatest growth is being able to come up with my personal creative questions for my own projects. If you would've asked me to do that at the beginning of the year, I bet I couldn’t have done that.I feel like my level of creativity has really expanded throughout the course of this class.

If I were to do this class over again, I would focus a lot more on photoshop. I felt like I could’ve developed a bigger understanding if I primarily focused on photoshop. I know how to do the basic things on photo such as layer masks, cropping, ect. I feel like there is so much stuff I don’t about photoshop still that I could learn through another course.

Leaving this class, I think I will be able to apply a lot. Not only in this class did I learn the techniques of working and camera and how to use photoshop. I learned how to work with people and be creative on my own. I think working with people is a life skill and being creative will open up many doors in the future.

Okay, i just figured out how to do this whole depth field thing, and im pretty stoked on this one.

the perspective is also pretty cool too

The Lowrance GPS chart device also has a fish finder and depth meter. reads water temp, too. I angled the transducer so it can read a little in front of the boat.
