5 different levels of holes. The only other 5-level Menger sponge I was able to find on the net is here : [http://sunflow.sourceforge.net/gallery/v005/menger.png]

This is of one of my classmates and i took it outside my geometry class.

I made sure that he was the only thing in focus.

i changed my position because the one i was in before i took this picture I didn't get the depth of field that i needed.

I think i would have moved up closer to the wall to get more of the hallway in it.

An exercise in showing depth with a neutral background. Three chestnuts.

Done for my Color Theory class, Gage Academy, Seattle, Spring 2011.

Our faces don't always say what is inside the depth of our hearts,,

I got the idea of the editting from Uaelatino =)

I like the depth of field on this one... shot wide open at f 2.8

At least SOME of it's in focus...

I chose this picture because it is a good example of depth.

A little experiment with a diving dome, a go pro, a 4m pole and a remote mobile phone preview and trigger system.

Not the easiest system to use, but I think with a little work I might get some interesting shots.

Depth field assignment

Eastern Black Swallowtail caterpillar

San Francisquito Trail, PA Baylands

f2.7, 1/800 sec

This photo is an example of shallow depth of field. The caterpillar's head is in focus, as well as the fennel leaves on either side of its head. However, the rest of its body is out of focus, and the photo becomes blurrier the further back it goes, all the way to the far horizon and even the sky as well. The fennel leaves directly in front of the camera are also blurry since they are in front of the plane of focus.

This photo is apart of my three series of photographs where I showcase a long, medium, and short depth of field on the same subject. This photo showcases a long depth of field. This is obvious due to the fact that the entire photo is in focus. Æ’/16.0

I have always wanted to shoot wire fence with a stunning out of focus fall off in the background. This is not one of them! But more focusing on the webbing between the mesh.

Narrow DOF, afternoon, flat, small amounts, side

This is a shot I took from a playground I occasionally visit.

The road side barrier is almost covered by snow

This shot was taken with only the tv light flickering to illuminate the popcorn (long exposure).

I chose this picture because it focuses on Wall-E. It almost leaves you curious as to what the robots behind him look like.

two photos merged - the water droplet photo was taken last month and the snow crystals photo was taken earlier this month

The stairs of my building. Radial blur added.

This photo I took trying to get a bubble photo but I turned down the aperture so much I realized that it would make a great depth of field photo.

I was just playing around with my camera when I got this shot. I like the feeling of depth created by the trees, layered on top of each other in the distance.

Processed with VSCOcam with hb2 preset

I wonder what's on your mind man!

Isco-Gottingen Westron 28mm f/4

I got this lens because of the amazing depth it can achieve. Kind of like an enlarging lens. I wish I could find another one like it but at a wider angle.
