FORT HOOD, Texas — Soldiers of Detachments 1 and 2 of the 846th Transportation Company based in Salisbury, North Carolina are honored at a welcome home ceremony May 14 at 7 p.m. following their deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan for nine months.

ARTA, Djibouti (August 14, 2012) - Task Force Raptor Soldiers participate in the third Spur Ride held in the Horn of Africa. The spur ride is a cavalry tradition in which a trooper must pass a series of tests that evaluate physical, leadership, technical and tactical proficiency in a high stress environment in order to earn his spurs and become a member of the Order of the Spur.
