Before anyone has concerns that I have trepassed on the railway to get this shot, I didn't. Shot 'from the hip' and from the level crossing, Ardeer Stevenston, the gates where up and the train I was trying to catch had been cancelled.

along the highway between Wagga and Narrandera, a removalist truck was opened like a tin of beans and some poor family's personal belongs were strewn along the roadside. The truck ended up in the trees. This car carrier stayed on the road but the load was in rather poor shape.
And a MMG make their appearance. Although I had my 2 sections behind hard cover for the entire game, I managed to roll a 6 about 50% of the time when checking the hit effect. I hardly had shock hits. Just head wounds.

The "Toy Ride" is an annual event for Team Escape Velocity. We get together and ride to raise money for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, a local charity that gets Christmas presents to kids in disadvantaged families. Last year we raised over $1,200. This year, we had the support of the Tim Horton's Community Cruiser, which was parked at the start and kept us well-supplied with coffee and Timbits, ensuring we were all sufficiently caffeinated, warm, and well-fuelled. A pile of folks from Team Wedgewood popped by as well, but they headed off a few minutes before we left--they probably didn't want to get cold waiting for us to roll out. We delayed our start close to 20 minutes to give the ice on the roads a bit more time to thaw out. And to ensure all the timbits were consumed as well, of course. All told, it was a great ride: no ice on the roads, the rain held off, and we raised a lot of money to help kids have a bit nicer Christmas.
Later in the evening, we have our year-end dinner party. Between the Toy Ride and the year-end party, what a great way to close out another racing season!
But fans were not dampened
Megan Moroney, despite the delay because of lightning in the middle of her set, and Tyler Hubbard lit up the Bobcat stage at the York State Fair on Friday night, drawing in hordes of enthusiastic fans. The dynamic duo both put on a captivating performance that had the crowd jumping to their feet and singing along to every song. With their spirited tunes and magnetic stage presence, Moroney and Hubbard delivered an unforgettable concert experience that left everyone wanting more. The York State Fair proved to be the perfect setting for this electric show, providing a lively and energetic atmosphere that perfectly complemented the high-octane performance.
