I made a new batch of laundry soap. I love using this stuff; your clothes come out clean and smelling like nothing. I'd never realized how much smell my unscented detergent had until my sister gave me a bottle of this stuff.
On my way to work I saw an old conertina like garage door with several of these No Parking signs on the door. It all had a rather weathered character to it.
When this photo came out I was surprised (and excited) to see that it looks like a charcoal drawing. At first I thought this will settle with the photo’s development, but lucky for me it stayed like this.
This is definitely one of my better art pieces. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of it. I had fun experimenting with water colors and I think it definitely added a nice colorful element to the piece. At first it was difficult to get it the right shade of the color I was using but I quickly realized that the more water you add to the color the lighter it gets which is the effect I was going for in the day part. In the night part I enjoyed mixing purple, blue, and grey to create a beautiful night sky. I'm also very pleased with my progress at making more consistent lines in my artwork. I look forward to experimenting with water colors some more next time.
