Kabul Galactic Command to Pakistani Secrete UFO Research Facility: Did you get that secrete lOve weapon access card? This is Pakistani Secrete UFO Research Facility responding, yes we did. I am reading it with my yellow glowing multi-pausatronic eyelonic eyetron device right now. It looks good and the powercore reads 5000 parts per million at optimal strength. We are having Pakistan Moonbases Ro-88 and Ro-64 confirm those reads and get a paint on the dOvestar. They are currently at Alpha position right now closing in at 989000 KPM. Pakistani Secrete UFO Research Facility over and out: Good Pakistani Secrete UFO Research Facility, Wow, I was worried!!! It looks like the force field energons are reading at optimal levels and Centicicada agrees it may be almost time to release the droids. We will go ahead and proceed. Kabul Galactic Command over and out.

Despite a full Moon last night I was able to image IC410 by using a narrowband Ha filter. The ambient temp in the dome was -4c which allowed me to push the camera down to -40c, but this unfortunately resulted in some bizarre artifact around the edges of the image which our 'Imaging guru' John M quickly confirmed as frosting in the CCD chamber, so I warmed :-) the camera up to -35c and the frosting went away after about 15 minutes. I was then able to find a suitable guide star and tracked IC410 until it disappeared behind my neighbours trees some 3 hrs later. The mount was performing extremely well and even with an 8 second guide exposure the tracking error graph was as flat as I've ever seen it.

Dusty emission nebula IC 410 lies about 12,000 light-years away in the northern constellation Auriga. The cloud of glowing gas is over 100 light-years across, sculpted by stellar winds and radiation from embedded open star cluster NGC 1893.

Formed in the interstellar cloud a mere 4 million years ago, bright cluster stars are seen by the prominent dark dust cloud near picture centre.

Notable are two relatively dense streamers of material trailing away from the nebula's central regions. Potentially sites of ongoing star formation, these cosmic tadpole shapes are about 10 light-years long.

This Hubble image of the Antennae galaxies is the sharpest yet of this merging pair of galaxies. As the two galaxies smash together, billions of stars are born, mostly in groups and clusters of stars. The brightest and most compact of these are called super star clusters.

The Universe is an all-action arena for some of the largest, most slowly evolving dramas known to mankind. A new picture taken by the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS), onboard the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope, shows the "sharpest ever" view of the Antennae galaxies - seemingly a violent clash between a pair of once isolated galaxies, but in reality a fertile marriage. As the two galaxies interact, billions of stars are born, mostly in groups and clusters of stars. The brightest and most compact of these are called super star clusters.

Galaxy in Pegasus.

RGB of 120 seconds per filter.

The Andromeda Galaxy is a barred spiral galaxy approximately 2.5 million light-years from Earth with a diameter of about 152,000 light-years across. It is the nearest large galaxy to the Milky Way and the farthest deep space object from the earth that can be seen with the unaided eye.

The galaxy's name stems from the area of Earth's sky in which it appears, the constellation of Andromeda, which itself is named after the princess who was the wife of Perseus in Greek mythology.

✨ Messier 15 – A Cosmic Jewel in Pegasus ✨

Gaze upon Messier 15 (M15), one of the densest and most ancient globular clusters in the Milky Way. This tightly packed sphere of stars, shining brilliantly in the constellation Pegasus, has fascinated astronomers for centuries.

📍 Constellation: Pegasus

✨ Distance from Earth: ~33,600 light-years

📏 Diameter: ~175 light-years

⭐ Apparent Magnitude: +6.2

🌀 Age: ~12.5 billion years

🌟 Interesting Facts:

M15 is home to a dense core, possibly containing a central black hole, making it one of the few globular clusters with this feature.

It contains over 100,000 stars, many of which are red giants and variable stars.

It houses one of the largest known populations of pulsars and neutron stars in any globular cluster.

First cataloged by Jean-Dominique Maraldi in 1746, it was later added to Charles Messier’s famous catalog.

A true relic of the early universe, M15 stands as a living fossil of our galaxy’s formation. What fascinates you most about these ancient stellar cities? Let me know in the comments! 🌠
