Doris Milner Dedication June 18th, 2011. The unveiling of a new interpretive sign at Nez Perce Pass in the Selway- Bitterroot Wilderness honoring Milner and the late Idaho Senator Frank Church. Milner was dedicated to preserving the Selway- Bitterroot Wilderness, and the Magruder Corridor. Members of the Forest Service, Conservation Community, and Members of Milner's family all spoke at the dedication.

Lucius Minicius Natalis Quadronius Verus (Barcino, AD 96 – ?) was a Roman statesman and military leader who served as the Proconsul of Africa from 153 to 154. He was the first known Olympic champion to have been born in the Iberian Peninsula.

This man was standing out in the middle of the grand river in the freezing water waiting to catch that big trout. I was cold looking at him.

My dad, despite the lake being lowered 6-8 ft and the snow and ice, was out fishing while we were down at my aunt's cottage this weekend. Sometimes it's not about catching fish, but about the act of fishing, which is one of the ways we enjoy the outdoors. He never did catch anything, but we're just waiting for the lake to freeze over so we can ice fish. Then we'll see if the fish are laughing.
