Started in July 2019. the $50 million, three-story building project faced pandemic-related supply chain delays but was completed on budget. The new city hall is approximately 135,000 square feet and is located between the former City Hall and Building 2. More than 300 people will be providing all the same services – Treasurer, Revenue, DMV, City Clerk, Council Chambers, Volumeter Resources, and Communications.

Boston Globe gives dedication date by Mayor as May 21, 1921.
This is a picture of the Dedication of Adams Park in 1918 (sic).The photo shows Poplar Street, where the band is playing. We are looking toward South Street and can see Taft Hill Terrace. The building on the left currently houses Tobin & Tobin Law Office. To the right is a block of stores that stretch from the Rialto Florist to the Rialto Barber Shop. The tall building on the far right is where the Rialto Theater was located, which had been re- developed into the Greater Roslindale Medical and Dental Center.
Oglah, a dedicated research volunteer, continues to work hard, meeting a participating family, despite the downpour.
