The chapel is dedicated to St Michael, and dates to the 13th century.
It contains the tomb of Richard Croft and his wife Eleanor (née Cornwall). Eleanor was the daughter of Sir Edmund Cornwall, Baron of Burford in Shropshire, and the widow of Sir Hugh Mortimer of Kyre Wyard and Martley, Worcestershire, who was killed in action at the Battle of Wakefield on 30 December 1460.
Dedicated to my dear friend Lia a great photographer see her stream :
In the heart of Portugal we find the Alentejo region .. Evora is its most important city; here you see the Roman Temple of Évora (also referred to as the Templo de Diana, after Diana, ancient Roman goddess of the moon, the hunt, and chastity) . The temple is part of the historical centre of the city, classified a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is one of the most famous landmarks of Évora and a symbol of Roman presence in Portuguese territory. Behind you can see the other historical buildings of this city. One of my favourite places (I advise the Pousada) which I hope you will enjoy with an amazing light; Have a great week!

Dedicated to modernist Dublin writer Samuel Beckett, this contemporary stunner opened to the public in 2009.
Samuel Beckett Bridge is a cable-stayed swingbridge in Dublin, Ireland that joins Sir John Rogerson's Quay on the south side of the River Liffey to Guild Street and North Wall Quay in the Docklands area.
Architect Santiago Calatrava was the lead designer of the bridge.
Constructed by a "Graham Hollandia Joint Venture", the main span of the Samuel Beckett Bridge is supported by 31 cable stays from a doubly back-stayed single forward arc tubular tapered spar, with decking provided for four traffic and two pedestrian lanes. It is also capable of opening through an angle of 90 degrees allowing ships to pass through.
The harp being the national symbol for Ireland from as early as the thirteenth century, the shape of the spar and its cables is said to evoke an image of a harp lying on its edge.
