The old deck was starting to rot and the concrete wall that supported one end was starting to lean. This is where the old wood is destined to end up. :-)
A few years back I wanted a deck in the backyard.
Well... Ken & Brent got busy and built a double layer deck.
It's great! They did a wonderful job.
(THANKS GUYS)!
It's a cloudy day in NYC but here you can see part of our large private deck for our apt. We put most of the chairs away for winter. We also have a large gas grille that cannot be seen in this photo. If you stand where I was standing to take this photo and face the other direction you would see the Chrysler Building and a great city view.
carrie finished cleaning the deck, and it's dried. it has one coat of stain/preservative on the railings. if the weather holds out, she'll get the rest of it done in the next few days.
We offer garden decking services including landscape elements like railings, steps, balconies, and many more. I bought the deck furniture from Sears and found a stainless steel sink with a flat bottom that dropped right into the center opening and what the plan is for it to hold ice and refreshments and when I get further along with the installation I will be adding a ball valve drain to where when the ice melts I can easily drain it. I may also design and built some type of enclosure around the bottom side to insulate it to get the ice to last longer. More to come.
