This is a lovely climbing rose I started from a cutting many years ago. It is now in many places in the garden and the neighbourhood. It is quite easy to propagate and it is very prolific. Only blooms once in June for about 3-4 weeks. It also has a very nice fragrance.
Finished inside with inch & 1/2 T&G pine boards in skylights and on ceiling. T1-11 used to finish off walls against house and on the gable as you see here. Rough trim with 1x4 pine to match the ceiling was used around gable windows. All of this to be stained and painted at a later date.

Improvements since 2013: all new kitchen, hardwood floors everywhere on main level (except in bedrooms, in which we installed new carpet), new air conditioning system (2014), new gas heating unit (2014), new paint (2013), new base molding, replaced sliding glass door with windows and single door to deck, replaced terracotta sewer line with PVC line from house to street connection, updated electrical, new light fixtures, plus more.
Not pictured: two car garage, full (dry) unfinished basement with 8-foot ceilings, large private backyard.
They should have known to adjust the feet so that the deck steps could be reattached flush to the deck and patio.

Pilots and crew chiefs assigned to 225 “KnightHawk” Company 25th Infantry Division, conduct day and night-time deck landing qualifications. To maintain proficiency, the crews must complete a total of 10 landings, five day and five night-vision landings on a ship deck every month. The qualifications are necessary to ensure perishable skills is not lost and aviation crewmembers are able to support maritime missions. (U.S. Army photo by MSG Lekendrick Stallworth)
