Opening-act dei Twenty One Pilots l’8 febbraio 2016 all’Alcatraz di Milano, i Monkey Weather.
Formatisi nel 2010 in seguito ad un viaggio fra Liverpool e Londra sulle tracce dei Beatles, i The Monkey Weather, giovane trio indie rock di ispirazione britannica originario di Domodossola, in Piemonte, sta emergendo prepotentemente sulla scena indipendente italiana: un ottimo album di debutto "Apple Meaning", uscito nel 2012 con Ammonia Records (distribuzione Area Pirata) che raccoglie recensioni positive sia in casa (8 sul magazine Rumore, che non ha esitato a definirlo "un disco pop fatto come Dio comanda"), sia all'estero (8 anche sulla testata tedesca OX).
Sempre nel 2012, i The Monkey Weather si fanno conoscere dal grande pubblico in sede live: aprono tre concerti per il tour estivo dei Kasabian: Ferrara, Roma e Milano, di cui girano un breve documentario on the road. La nota rock band di Leicester apprezza i The Monkey Weather e ne parla bene anche ai propri fans, su twitter. A dicembre il trio torna a Milano, questa volta ai Magazzini Generali, come opening act per il concerto sold-out dei The Vaccines, conquistandosi anche in questa occasione il consenso del pubblico.
Due sono i videoclip che accompagnano i singoli tratti da Apple Meaning, entrambi diretti da Valentina Branchetti: "People Watch Me" e "Sara Wants to Dance", quest'ultimo con la partecipazione di alcuni personaggi provenienti da differenti ambiti underground italiani: la performer Ladydiabolika, il cantante dei Thee S.T.P. Metius e il chitarrista della band metal Fuzz Fuzz Machine Marco Cassone, entrambi i video sono stati scelti da MTV New Generation per la rubrica Just Discovered nella settimana tra il 24 ed il 31 dicembre 2012.

Blade Runner 2049 est un film de science-fiction américain, réalisé par Denis Villeneuve, sorti en 2017. Il fait suite au premier film réalisé par Ridley Scott (producteur de cette suite), sorti en 1982 et adapté du roman Les androïdes rêvent-ils de moutons électriques ? de Philip K. Dick. Il raconte les aventures d'un blade runner, trente ans après les aventures de Rick Deckard.
En 2049, la société est fragilisée par les nombreuses tensions entre les humains et leurs esclaves créés par bioingénierie. L’officier K est un Blade Runner : il fait partie d’une force d’intervention d’élite chargée de trouver et d’éliminer ceux qui n’obéissent pas aux ordres des humains. Lorsqu’il découvre un secret enfoui depuis longtemps et capable de changer le monde, les plus hautes instances décident que c’est à son tour d’être traqué et éliminé. Son seul espoir est de retrouver Rick Deckard, un ancien Blade Runner qui a disparu depuis des décennies...
Blade Runner 2049 is a 2017 American neo-noir science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green. A sequel to the 1982 film Blade Runner, the film stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, with Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, Mackenzie Davis, Carla Juri, Lennie James, Dave Bautista, and Jared Leto in supporting roles. Edward James Olmos also briefly reprises his role as Gaff. Set thirty years after the first film, Gosling plays K, a blade runner who uncovers a secret that threatens to instigate a war between humans and replicants.
Because the sequel adopts the timeline of the original Blade Runner, which is set in 2019, just two years after the date of release of the sequel, the sequel is also a work of alternate history fiction that adopts the technological advancements of the first movie occurring between 1982 and 2019, while also disregarding many of the actual developments of the era, such as the ubiquity of flat-panel displays, the dissolution of the Soviet Union and the collapse of Pan Am.
Principal photography took place between July and November 2016, mainly in Budapest, Hungary. Blade Runner 2049 premiered in Los Angeles on October 3, 2017 and was released in the United States in 2D, 3D and IMAX on October 6, 2017. The film was praised by critics for its performances, direction, cinematography, musical score, production design, and faithfulness to the original film. Despite positive reviews, the film was a box office disappointment, grossing just $92 million in North America and $259 million worldwide

Completed the sculpt work on my first version of Roy Batty - Blade Runner - 1:18 scale. Like the Deckard figure posted earlier, had to go back and make some adjustments to the mid-torso cut, shoulders and elbows. Aves FIXIT is a brilliant product but is unforgiving once cured!
Completed the sculpt of the coat and gave the figure a little more in the height department. More work on Batty to come - I imagine a few more versions of him I would like to do...#roybatty #bladerunner #replicant #rutgerhauer

Sculpt progress on Zhora (Dancer) - Blade Runner - 1:18 scale. Finished sculpting the arms and chest, made adjustments to the arm length and am in the process of thinning out the shoulders. Her body sculpt is almost complete. Next are the pasties and glitter...and my question to myself would be, should I sculpt the glitter?...not all of it mind you but some of the areas just to give a texture. I think I'll give it a go while working on the head sculpt. Still making some adjustments to the body as well as Rachael's body frame...still debating what version I will be making of Rachael first....I have ideas. This photo was accepted to appear in the book A Moment in Central New York 2009 – A Weekend of Local Images that features all the photos entered in the juried 7th Annual (2009) "Weekend in Central New York" Danella Photographic/New Hartford Town Crier Photography Contest and Show.
Conest rules specified the photo be taken between 12:01 AM on Saturday, September 26th and midnight, Sunday, September 27th.
The works were displayed during the month of November at the New Hartford Town Library.

This is the third year I have been in this contest and show. Last year's included the work "Lyons Fall."
It was also accepted to appear in the juried Stanley Center for the Arts 12th Annual (2009) Regional Art Exhibition. The works were displayed in the Romano Gallery at the Stanley Theatre from November 18th to December 17th of 2009.
