Rather a distant view but these large light grey lumps on the far rocks are a colony of seals at Falling Sands near Beachy Head Lighthouse.
By chance, we heard the other side of this "cute" sight from a fisherman yesterday as he sat in his boat in the lock at Sovereign Harbour on his way back from a fishing trip. Several large (and worth about £50 each) fish lay decapitated and all but eaten at the bottom of his boat. The seals are lovely to see but they are destroying the local fish stocks.
My brother came up with the name. But anyways my newest custom figure! Based off of the relatively new game Dying Light. The figure has wrapped gloves, side pockets sculpted knee-pads, a chest rig, and a painted hammer, all made and some parts painted by me. Also I am very proud of the editing job on this and I even added the name of the game and the catchphrase of the game into the photo. I hope you guys like this as much as I do and if you do make sure to drop a comment down below.

A Hobby (Falco subbuteo), which missed catching a Four-spotted Chaser dragonfly (Libellula quadrimaculata), but which knocked off the poor dragonfly's head (that's the object you see just behind the Hobby.
I took this photo back in 2016 and posted it to Flickr at the time. Unfortunately, the upper part of the furthest wing was going out of the frame. So I decided to reconstruct the top of the wing with cloning, and then add some canvas to make more space around the Hobby.
Usually I avoid any photo manipulation, and any adding or taking away bits in the image. Here the whole image is as taken except all that directly above the wing tip nearest to the camera. I don't know what others think of the choice. I will link to the original image below.
The Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) is partially migratory, moving south in winter from the northern parts of its range. They mostly hunt at night, but this owl is known to be diurnal and crepuscular as well. Its daylight hunting seems to coincide with the high-activity periods of voles, its preferred prey. Its food consists mainly of rodents, especially voles, but it will eat other small mammals such as mice, ground squirrels and rats. They decapitate and eviscerate small mammals before swallowing them whole. When food is plentiful, winter areas often become breeding grounds.

It depicts Perseus (Italian: Perseo) having decapitated the head of Medusa with a machete. Perseus was a mythological Greek hero ... go check out Greek mythology.
Located along U.S. 12 about a mile east of Three Oaks, Michigan, I can't tell you how many times I've driven by this vestige of a windmill without ever realizing it was there.

Last chance to watch the video of this unique location!!
Judging by the rather bland exterior, if you drove by this abandoned building you might not give it a second thought. Looking like an old garage or maybe a large falling down wooden shed, you would be mistaken to think this would be a boring location. Once inside you realise how unique and special this one really is!
This somewhat smaller building was last used as a ceramic studio/storefront. As far as I can tell the building has not been used in at least a couple of decades and judging by the bay door, leftover invoices and all the car parts in the attic, this building was used as an automotive shop before being converted into an art studio. It was absolutely jam packed full of greenware (unfired ceramics), ceramic moulds as well as finished ceramics. The artist just locked the door one day and never returned. An absolute joy of a time capsule to explore and just so unique.
This vintage sign has lost it's upper portion and the top half of the moving van itself.

note:
We went to visit this place in Ayutthya (Thailand) called Wat Phra Mahathat. The landscapes and textures of the ruins were so unique and equally beautiful. There were lots of buddha statues and a tree which grows around a giant head of a Buddha statue. (will post it on my fb)
Almost all of the Buddha statues at the place had their heads missing.
A mate of mine suggested the idea for this shot. This is a sort of homage to the Buddha statues that were decapitated.
