Amtrak ACELA 2027 was blasting through the MARC Halethorpe stop on its way to the Cesspool.
Soon these aging speedsters will be replaced by newer speedsters sometime in my lifetime (hopefully).
Houston International Airport Of other interest is the "Jet Center" in the background. This was taken from the Observation Deck above the International Gates at what is now Hobby Airport.
I have lived in Washington DC almost twenty years and have visited most of the museums, buildings and attractions at one time or another. To me, the most impressive is the Thomas Jefferson Building, the oldest and most recognizable Library of Congress building.
I have visited the LOC a few times but never attempted to get photos until my last visit. The scale is simply overwhelming. My lack of experience for indoor, architectural photography did not do justice to the grandeur of the place, but hopefully this short series will be of some interest. To me it's a must-see for any visit to DC.

Friendship Archway is a paifang in Washington, DC's Chinatown. The archway spans H Street just east of 7th Street NW. It is one of the largest ceremonial arches outside of China. It was installed in 1986.
Washington, DC's Chinatown is a fairly small area with a few Chinese restaurants. There is a Metro stop in Chinatown.
The golden spider of Kwaku Anansi was passed down from generation to generation, each recipient becoming the protector of the treasures of the Ashanti people and bestowed with the same powers of wall-walking and illusion-casting. While we don't know the name of this particular recipient, he has teamed up with Static in the DCAU's Static Shock cartoon!
I've been trying to go down the list of DCAU heroes and hit 'em all, and it seems like Static Shock's are the hardest to do. I feel like a lot of that has to do with how many unusual colors their heroes use - especially purple, which LEGO tends to avoid. Either way, the list of unfinished characters is excitedly growing smaller!
I've been slowly building up my Doom Patrol lineup, and Gerard Way's new run has only made me want to do it faster! I've had most of this one sitting around for a few months waiting for a good head, but Lord Allo just uploaded a similar figure a few days ago, with a little Photoshop magic to make it more accurate. He's also got some more Doom Patrol members and about a million other Marvel and DC figures (and some wonderful drawings!) so check him out if you haven't!

he Douglas DC-3 is an American fixed-wing propeller-driven airliner, the speed and range of which revolutionized air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Its lasting impact on the airline industry and World War II makes it one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made. The major military version was designated the C-47 Skytrain, of which more than 10,000 were produced. Many DC-3s and converted C-47s are still used in all parts of the world. (Source: Wikipedia).
This isn't terribly different from the official figure, but I knew I needed to do something to make her fit in with the rest of my Titans figures. On her own, the only thing I'd like to change is the head, but putting her alongside the rest of the iconic 5 Titans from the animated series makes me crave a nice blue Raven instead of the third purple figure. Ah, but an AFOL anxious for a good Raven minifig, what else is new? 😅

I've recently started making albums for some of the teams I've been working on to better keep track of my progress and potentially make it easier for people to find figures they're looking for. In doing that, I've come across a few figures that I've only uploaded in groups, have updated since I posted them, or that I've somehow forgotten to upload altogether! This massive dump should cover a lot of those - save for a few I definitely want to improve upon before I share them with you - and also includes a lot of my oldest and most favorite figs!
