Back after the long weekend!
Went down to DC for a day during this long thanksgiving weekend with some friends. This is a shot of the Capitol in front of the national mall taken at sunset.Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. :)

One of DC's newest characters, Dereck James is a Puerto Rican high school with the power to travel through dimensions thanks to the Dark Multiverse. I've yet to read his new book, but from what I hear, what the Terrifics are to the Fantastic Four, Sideways is to Spider-Man. It brings to mind the old line that gave us Thanos: "If you are going to copy the New Gods, why not use the really cool one?"
I really love the character's design, and I tried my best to catch the feel of it here, but I mostly just wanted to get the idea on paper so to speak. If you think you can do better, please, post what you come up with! I'm really anxious to see people tackle these New Age of Heroes characters!
So I decided to throw a bunch of Superman villains together for this showcase. Haven't done on for DC for a while, but oh well.
Atomic Skull - Super basic head and flame piece that practically everyone uses so... Credit to everyone?

Livewire - while I don't really like the mohawk look, it's the best I could come up with.
(Harley Quinn head, surfer torso, Black Widow legs)
Toyman - One if my favorites. Wanted to design him off of his Super friends look as it's my favorite, but modernized it with the DCAU look.

Parasite - The most average here, but my favorite. Pretty simple combo others have used but it works.

Bizarro - Probably the worst if the bunch. I really hope Lego releases a wide release Bizzaro that isn't MM soon, definitely need him.

The golden spider of Kwaku Anansi was passed down from generation to generation, each recipient becoming the protector of the treasures of the Ashanti people and bestowed with the same powers of wall-walking and illusion-casting. While we don't know the name of this particular recipient, he has teamed up with Static in the DCAU's Static Shock cartoon!
I've been trying to go down the list of DCAU heroes and hit 'em all, and it seems like Static Shock's are the hardest to do. I feel like a lot of that has to do with how many unusual colors their heroes use - especially purple, which LEGO tends to avoid. Either way, the list of unfinished characters is excitedly growing smaller!
I've been slowly building up my Doom Patrol lineup, and Gerard Way's new run has only made me want to do it faster! I've had most of this one sitting around for a few months waiting for a good head, but Lord Allo just uploaded a similar figure a few days ago, with a little Photoshop magic to make it more accurate. He's also got some more Doom Patrol members and about a million other Marvel and DC figures (and some wonderful drawings!) so check him out if you haven't!

Reaper: A 90s villain who has a surprisingly deep hatred for someone he just met.
Deadshot: An expert marksman who has a grudge against Batman because he is the only person who Deadshot has missed.
Calenderman: Inspiration from TheMooseFigs for the trench coat.

he Douglas DC-3 is an American fixed-wing propeller-driven airliner, the speed and range of which revolutionized air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Its lasting impact on the airline industry and World War II makes it one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made. The major military version was designated the C-47 Skytrain, of which more than 10,000 were produced. Many DC-3s and converted C-47s are still used in all parts of the world. (Source: Wikipedia).

Superman : just use the ORIGINAL Lex Luthor head but erased some ugly line and repainted the cape

Evelyn Crawford was an old friend of Black Canary's, and an outlaw from the government. I have no idea what happened to her, all I know is that she's bisexual 😅
If her name sounds familiar, you might recognize it from Arrow! Evelyn took up the mantle of Black Canary after Laurel's death, until she was confronted by Green Arrow and friends, and would later join the team as Artemis and betray them all with no hesitation! Spoilers!

Vibe: Because I took the Nightwing torso and put it on Nightwing I gave him a painted torso and a hood.

Gordon: pretty happy with this combo, CMF Gordon torso and legs, CapeMadness trenchcoat, Bat vs. Bane Tumber Chase Gordon head and hair
Scarecrow: Not sure about this one. I liked the shape of the Rey head-wrap piece, but the goggles don't really fit. I might replace it with one of those Sandpeople heads, but yeah; Lex Luthor torso, Rey headpiece
Mirror Master: Nexo Knights Aaron helmet, construction worker torso (need to get one of those Star Wars pilot torsos, but this was the best I could do with the parts at hand), Parademon head
