Nikon is..delectable, and it can go great with anything..from landscapes, portraits, macro shots, to even spreadable cheeses.
This is to show how versatile yet simple Nikon can be sometimes..
(and yes, I did clean it before and after!)
#21 - bite size vanilla biscuit hearts.
my friend is coming back from birmingham tomorrow. we don't get to see her often anymore, so every time she is back we try to do something nice. we're all making food for tomorrow. i'm not sure what else will happen.
i'm making marinaded roast chicken wings, roasted vegetable & cheese rice and vanilla heart biscuits. tomorrow they will be iced with buttercream & have sugar gems on top, a la iced gems.
My photography friend inspired me to get a good shot of my ring. This is my purity ring my parents gave me on my 16th birthday to symbolize that I'll stay pure till marriage.
Collections Day 21
Thimbles. I've managed to collect 67. My daughter counted. I can't help it, they are cheap souvenirs.

This will be the final page in one of the girls' Disney albums. This does not mean I am "done" with the album because I am not working in chronological order....just creating whatever inspires me. Inspiration for this one came from LOAD's very own katieplus4! Thank you! I was able to complete this one in less than 30 minutes - woot! woot!

March 24, 2010--I was inspired on my drive home tonight, as the sun was beginning to drop closer to the horizon, and there was an early moonrise. Actually, what caught my eye was a hawk sitting atop a tree that was only about 10-15 feet tall. I pulled over to the side of the road, got my telephoto lens out, and started traipsing down a path in my work clothes. Unfortunately, Mr. Hawk flew away before I got remotely close to him. Hmmph. So, I took pictures of this crazy tree with these crazy strange balls of seeds on them. Only in PA have I seen these, and I like to think that when they fall in the spring all over the place, that it's really squirrels sitting in the trees waiting for people to pass by, ammunition in hand.
