Reading. The child that doesn't stop reading. The most weird book related situation was when she wanted to take a book for a walk to the local supermarket... Actually another situation was when she sat in the bathtub with a book that she sneaked in to the bathroom! I know this will sound super-weird, but we sometimes ask her to play some games or watch tv for a change... yet, she's not that interested.

This particular photo was taken just before blow-drying her hair.

I often wish I had as much time to read as she does.

Not much to say really except that everything really is all white ; ))

View On Black • A little discretion guys! Hahaha... This is at my parent's place today, we search for antiques to do this shot (pretty easy, that house is filled with them) and I did a little set up in the room for my 365. And my mom was laughing at my funny faces ;)

Also see the outtake ... A bit more serious

This is the first Friday that the sun has shone and I've actually got a Fence Friday shot on a Friday yey !!

Happy Fence Friday everyone hope you all have a fabulous weekend !

Thanks for stopping to view, comment and fave my image, all very much appreciated :o)

This is my third bluebell shot of the year. I usually only take one - but this year, in my desperate search for anything and anywhere new in my lunchtime radius, I've found a couple more. From a distance they're exciting, you see the blue glow and race on in. Only when you get there do you realise its hard to get a decent composition on uneven ground full of bracken and bits of wood.

I crossed a stream and hurdled a barbed wire fence to get in. This was followed by a walk through bushes, where branches clawed at me. These branches were probably the staging posts for a vast army of ticks.... so every brush made me shudder. But, day 161 was done and that was what matters.

I am going to post and run I'm sorry. I've just come back from playing 5 a side football, and as the oldest (and fattest) on the pitch it has rather taken its toll.

Happy Bench Monday

ODC theme 'Have a seat'

I'm not sure where all the wool came from as there wasn't a sheep in sight but there was loads of wool all over the little park and on the bench !!!

Happy Monday everyone...hope your Monday has been better than mine :)

For this week's Take a class with Dave & Dave assignment 2, socks.

A funny but demanding assignment to me since a very good friend is the queen of sockness (Extra Super Cutie). I really want to do this assignment in my own special way...

I also shot this.

In my attempt to eat healthy, I've started buying plain yoghurt, the "original" kind that's thick and sour with all the culture you need to clean your insides with... almost like bleach but yummier.

I combined it with some Australian honey, raspberries and blackberries. I'm savouring every expensive bit of it... one small basket costs like USD7... they're pricey here. Now, all I need is some granola in them and... mmm.... heaven...

Books over 300 years old in Chetham's Library at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, England. It's amazing to think that they existed long before the United States was even founded.

Here's an attempt at the weekly challenge. Got so relaxed doing this I almost dozed off. Even shot it on my iPhone with my Rod approved iPhone tripod! Life is good.

wenn ich bedenke, dass die Kastanienbäume Pfingsten 2013 in Blüte standen, finde ich es enorm, dass heuer die Früchte schon groß und zahlreich sind.

Day161 Year3 of Project365

We flew to Prague today, we were flying with Emirates. If you ever seen the female flight attendants you know that they are wearing this hat with scarf, they are pretty unique in the attendant's uniforms world. I really do love the look. So when we were in the air I went to the back to ask one of the attendants a favour, if she can lend me her hat so I can take my 365 in it. She obviously agreed and all the other attendants, bothe males and females just came in to watch me in process ;) I guess this was their first time to meet anyone doing 365 project ;)

For We're Here - Code

My mom would have disapproved of my sloppy sending -- slurring the T and I together so it reads as a D. Mom had a very even hand when she sent Morse.

Put some zing into your 365! Join We're Here!

9.6.2016

On my way back home above Denmark.

I so desperately wanted to be a ballerina when I was a little girl. So, my mom enrolled me in classes. It was a matter of weeks before I told her how much I hated having to point my toes all the time, and that was that. I do have an old picture of me with my jazz hands and spirit fingers, though :)

I love zombie day! This is for FGR as well as 366.

Itchy.

Tasty.

[edit - explored! Hurray, thank you!

Day 161/365

I haven't done anything with food colouring in a while. These are small vials that contain medication that I take. The medication is extracted with a needle, which is how I filled them with food colouring. Although I wiped them down with a damp cloth, they still seem to have a lot of fingerprints on them.

For this shot, I put the vials on a glass table and lit them from below with a piece of black poster board as a background below the table. I didn't quite get the shot I was hoping for, but I do like the reflections and colours.

Day 161 of 365

Also Week 21, Assignment 2 for Take A Class With Dave and Dave.

I've been dying to try it again, and now is the time for Art Recreation Redux. our old friend from week 8, I said then we should hit this again during the spring, and here we are!

I looked and looked and finally settled on doing another Magritte; one that I didn't think anyone else would tackle. All in all I am happy with how it turned out. I changed a few of the elements to fit them to me (I don't drink wine), but it is pretty true (well as true as I could get) to the original.

161 / 365 - I'd rather be surfin'

(on black)

Let me introduce this pimpalicious rubber duckie. "What exactly is a function of a rubber duck?", asks Mr. Weasley when Harry Potter joins him for dinner. Yeah, what is it? What is it that makes the rubber duck so special? And why is it a duck? I think I've seen more than 100 movies in which the rubber duck was used for a comic relief. Most notably, an episode of "Jeeves and Wooster" (if you haven't watched it, you're missing out on something special).

So anyway. Today I was biking home and was absorbed into deep thoughts about Riemann problems and low Mach numbers. Suddenly I found myself looking straight at the butt of a girl who was riding in front of me. She wore those almost-see-through black leggings, kinda like black stockings - you can see the skin (well, sort of), but they are black at the edges. I'm sure she knew all that, but what she probably didn't suspect was that it looked way different while biking - everyone was treated to a full 360 (not counting the black thong). I think I almost crashed into her when I surfaced from my scientific musings, cause I rode way faster than she did. And after i looked at her I almost hit a pole cause I remembered the Queen "Bicycle" video and started laughing.

And now I feel like I need a vacation, and I have only one working flash left cause the batteries in everything else croaked. That's where the surfing rubber duck comes in. Did you know that the gesture the duck is making means "booze" in Russia?

Our Heirloom roses are amazing. They continue to bud and bloom although there are just two buds at a time. (Not a large plant).
