What to say? Autumn... but these ivy leaves are always the first to turn and the most brilliant red.

148 :: 365 :: 28th May 2013

As I see a hint of green continue to beautify the atmosphere

The wonderful scent of flowers fills the air

And the sun shines oh so brightly.

I happily bask under the warmth of the sun

With the breeze gently touching my cheeks

Oh so much joy I thought, while enjoying another green moment.

The wind laughs with the sound of happiness

The rustle of the leaves come giggling by

And I said to myself, what a wonderful world! :)

When I commune with nature, I consider it as my green moment. I am fortunate that my workplace is close to a park and a lovely museum. I can have a green moment and see art any time of the day.

Into the Light - Day 148 - Year 2022

148/365: 2015

After a very busy day, I met up with a friend for a cup of tea and a naughty treat. I took my camera along as I hadn't had a chance to get a photo before.

"I promise, we won't fall."

No rat terriers were injured in the making of this photo. Some emotional trauma, maybe...here, call PETA - who has that number again? Save her.

Soon to be grocer, bakery and restaurant.

Letter J for my alphabet project. I was going to have it be "jump" but it is raining again so no trampoline shots today.

Only got one shot(not the best )before a certain black and white dog knocked it into the long grass.

I'm in two minds re: the Canon Powershot S200. It's great having a conveniently small compact camera again but after 5 months of using a DSLR - I've forgotten how to use a compact!!

The rain didn't arrive in time to spoil the Bank Holiday weather, but it has certainly arrived now...

...at least it gave me something to photograph in my garden! :)

3rd appearance of the circle thing-e (which is a piece of glass i found and it compresses the whole scene inside the circle and then you get the background as well. I have no clue what this piece of glass is but ive had it for years as you will see it randomly throughout my work. It was getting late out and the sun was just dropping at the bottom of the horizon so i grabbed my 30mm and the circle thing-e and me and tam took a hike down to the waterfront for the last of day 148's light.

When you look through the circle thing-e its really a trip to see everything inside the circle and then your peripheral vision sees the rest of the scene and then when you look though your camera and hold up the circle thing-e it really is an awesome way to see whats around you, The hard part is getting the focus right in the circle for the right depth of field and then its hard to get a good composition as well to ensure your balance is right, so after a few adjustments i found what looked like the best spot and thanks again to tam for always putting up with my photos and missions as adding a person to this scene really helped anchor the whole composition and give you that im standing there feeling...This was Day 148 of 366

Today we are thinking of Ricko and his son Woody, who tragically died a few days ago.

Today's shot is the L line; it could be either the 2 or the 5 train. I parked the car under the L line hoping to see something that would get my attention. When I looked up, a train was passing and this was my view so I slowed my shutter to give the feeling of motion. Day148/365 #project365 - the L
